williamson had a good game today as far as I'm concerned and Krul looked to be slow in intercepoting that ball when it was obvious willo was shielding it in... Until that moment he looked very solid. Perch was great aswell on the left, didn't look great in the middle tho?.

I think Pardew's gameplan is basically: Play well until we score Revert to very pragmatic no chance taking defensive footy with the odd break. **Great against the lesser teams***

Can't fault him to be honest! We all expected NUFC to be around mid table at best after selling our supposed top dogs. Pardew has, albeit in fits and starts, had us playing some controlled football and very controlled defensive set ups to defend leads. I honestly think he is playing one type of football until we score and then he reverts to a much more pragmatic style after taking the lead. I have no complaints, he has totally superseded any aspirations I had over a year ago!

From one of their forums it looks likely they will play five across the middle like: Foster Tamas McAuley Olsson Ridgewell Mulumbu Morrison Andrews Odemwingie Thomas Fortune It doesn't look too bad a team if they play to their strengths (fastwingers and forward play). I don't think a market leader like Sony would even consider us... We aren't exactñly synonymous with their market position; a club that struggles for consistency and sells their most valued assets to anyone prepared to pay the right price. Unless mike changes/tweaks his model a bit (doesn't sell star players) and we regurlarly challenge for top 4 positions I can't see why anyone would pay ten million a year or whatever it is they are asking for for naming rights....
