Yeah, in the same way I'd fight to keep my cock out of Cheryl Cole's mouth. LOL
  2. I always quite liked Joey Barton as a player but looking at him now, from a distance, he seems to make trouble for himself and can easily put peoples backs up with the comments he makes. I think that for some of our foreign lads he would be quite hard to put up with, the self upping crap aswell ..hhmmm The Taarabt comments, make them to him at the club but not to the whole media circus..he's your own team mate FFS!
  3. Can't fault the boy tbh! The change from his first few outing is immense...must be hard shift the ole Ramadamadamadam!
  4. Would also like to see Ferguson and gosling included, something like: ------------------Harper---------------- Santon----Taylor.---Colo----Raylor Marveaux----Gosling---Abeid--Ferguson ----------Ben Arfa--------------- --------------------Shola------------- Tiote & Cabaye rested (hhmm...maybes too weak in middle?) and we can see what real cover we have...

Wahay!!! Get in ... We could buy the decent left back we wanted and have Santon as right back then... Pleaase Kenny!! No disrespect to Raylor, he is playing well at the moment, but a 10 million bid LOLOLOLOLOL ROFL
  6. I think somebody mentioned earlier, good management is about raising the level by implementing change before it is actually needed i.e. Marveaux for Obertan and Santon for one of the full backs. This way we optimise the team with the players we have at our disposal, we could even go as far to say Ben Arfa for Best, although he merits his place so far. it will only take a bad game to replace him, but quite happy to bring him on for another half hour to get him up to speed, then we can decide who plays better as a partnership: Best Ba or Benarfa Ba My Team for Wigan: -----------------Krul-------------- Santon--Tayls---Colo----Rayls Marveaux--Cabaye--Tiote--Jonas --------------Best----Ba--------
  7. I suppose that is their main aim, to keep the club running without losses and we sell to buy or every now and again Ashley dips his hand into pocket to buy someone. If we do make a profit then we can go on to buy some players with the surplus cash, if we have gone from spunking 35m a year in losses to an even keel we can easily predict some profits or surplus coming our way... Fingers crossed
  8. I also noticed we are pressuring the ball high up the field and have our defence quite high so spaces between the lines are reduced. This is great to see, playing high pressure and positve football, thought the forwards ran their socks off every time spurs passed the ball out of defence...
  9. He's playing OK, but I think that either Masrveaux or BenArfa would do much more than him offensively, he does cover a lot of ground defending but I suppose either of thos two could be asked to do the same...
  10. I thought our stand out players were: Demba Tiote Colo Jonas Maybe Raylor (one mistake - one brilliant goal...) **Deffo change simpson for Santon and Marveaux for Obertan***
  11. Best player in our team (with Colo, of course!!). Has to cut out those "Parker pirouettes", he gets caught a couple of times a match with those, oK it's his only failing...I know!
  12. I don't know why people think Best was bad yesterday, he won everything in the air and held the ball up tremendously, don't think he gave it away at all, drew defenders out wide quite a bit and was a real thorn in their sides... The only real change I would risk would be Obertan. He lost the ball quite a lot yesterday and a few times he was in a great position and he hesitated letting them regroup and eventually losing the ball. Marveaux would be the sensible like for like replacement. Ben Arfa took too many risks for my liking, lost the ball in dangerous positions and we were nearly punished twice in the 20 mins that he was on the pitch. if anything bring him on again after 60 ot 70 mins but with instructions not to try and take the whole world on by himself... Raylor is undroppable at the moment, since QPR he has got better and better, his passing from the back is great aswell, didn't lose any balls yesterday and doesn't panick.
  13. Who's livermore when he's at home? Any good? will at least save Raylors face being bummed tro death...LOL
  14. He ain't going to change a winning team! I would at best hope for some game-changing substitutions after 60 mins if we are winning/losing/drawing...LOL

    Danny Guthrie

Would rather see both (Guthrie & Smith) head for the exit doors, but we don't have enough cover tbh. If Gosling improves, along with abeid, then we could really expect to see the back of that pair... Would prefer Guthrie to smith if made to choose.
  16. 1. Chelsea aren't a 'fourth place competitor'. 2. They're playing Everton, not Villa. Man city play villa... Memory failing me, but thanks for the pedantry! P.S. Didn't mean Chelsea were in for fourth (Villa...)
  17. We are exactly the same form wise for the last six games; each drawing two and winning four... Tight one to call! 2-1 with ben arfa scoring a rocket in injury time!!!!
  18. Winding sound...Necks in... LOL
  19. We have to win this one!!! All of our "fourth place" competitors (ahem, cough ..splutter) will likely pick up no points this weekend and we could end up with a nice cushion between us and them: Liverpool - manu (they always get done at home by fergie) Chelsea - Villa (Villa Have no chance)

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Nothing like a bit of nepotism to further your career! (jealous!)
  21. I wouyld so love it if we bought another full back in Jan and Pardew's plan had always been to get rid of the two average footballers we have currently in thes positions... Just love it!! (fingers, toes, eyes all crossed!)

    Danny Guthrie

For me Danny Guthrie is still a gutless midfielder and I seriously don't want him in the center for us, would rather have smith tbh (jumps into bunker), all this for shirking "that" tackle and subsequent dissappearing act... No thanks, no renewal either, prefer Gosling or Abeihd to get blooded...
  23. The reality is: Raylor is adequately covering the LB position but is very limited, Santon is fast (Rayl's major downfall), skillful and can play left back as well as right back seemingly. He should be played on Saturday, but there is the factor of "bedding in" or "pace of premiership" to take into account, for these reasons I can't see him coming on until we are a couple of goals up... I would personally love to see him slot straight into LB, as the other options are gash!
