You can trust Chelsea to beat them…after all we all like Chelsea😊
-
Spot on assuming Villa win Europa and finish 5th……Otherwise Top 5 CL…..6/7 Europa and 8 Conference.
-
6th would get Cl….7th Europa and 8th Conference
-
My Pleasure.
-
There are so many permutations next Sunday…..Should Villa win Europa on Wednesday, and lose away to Man City on Sunday (assuming Liverpool also beat Brentford), then Villa would be 5th and whoever is 6th goes into CL….Could be an interesting Sunday, especially if Man City beat Bournemouth on Tuesday.
-
True….just trying to cheer you up, that there is still a chance that Sunderland won’t qualify.
-
Chelsea could still get in CL, so will be fully committed to beating Sunderland….Is that convincing enough😊
-
From BBC…. If Villa win Europa….6th will go into CL If Villa finish outside the top four, the Premier League will have six teams in the Champions League: The top four Villa as Europa League winners The EPS Villa's precise final position would decide the Premier League's total European allocation. If they finish fifth, the EPS passes to the Premier League's sixth-placed team.
-
Unfortunately not…i got it wrong.
-
You’re right….from BBC… Villa are fourth but, if on the final day they lose at Manchester City, and Liverpool win at home to Brentford, then the Villans will finish fifth. And that could potentially put sixth into the Champions League. The Premier League would surrender a place in the Europa League. Overall, England would still have eight European places.

Only 6 games in the League format…Less pressure than CL and Europa….Could play a shadow squad and still progress…Possible trophy
-
If Villa are 5th…6th CL…7/8 Europa….9 Conference
-
We also need villa to be 5th, to allow Bournemouth into CL
-
Chelsea lose to Spurs Tuesday and draw to Sunderland Sunday….Brentford lose away to Liverpool and i think we could be in Europa Cup….Villa need to lose also, or its the Conference Cup….I THINK

According to the Shields Gazette:- “NUFC can secure progress without kicking a ball One of the early kick-offs on Wednesday sees Qarabag host Eintracht Frankfurt. Should Qarabag lose to Frankfurt in the early kick-off, they would be unable to surpass Newcastle’s points total, which would secure a top 24 spot for The Magpies. But even if Qarabag were to get a result against Frankfurt, several other fixtures later on Wednesday night would have to go against Newcastle to stop them from securing progress. In addition to losing against PSV, to avoid Newcastle progressing tonight, Athletic Club would have to beat Atalanta, Union SG would have to win at Bayern Munich, and Benfica would have to beat Juventus.”

Though not mathematically certain…Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Clubbe Bruges have vastly inferior GD…So i’m counting them as well…..ONLY 4 more and we’re at least in the play-offs
-
I won’t be watching anything…..usually couldn’t give a toss about England, International Football means nowt to me…it’s the domestic arena that far more important…add to the fact that the USA is a periah state now, i certainly will be paying little or no attention in the summer….in fact a good opportunity to find a nice rural spot in the country with no TV and WiFi and have a nice relaxing six weeks😀
-
If they beat Nigeria….The winners of the continental play-off final will progress to a six-team intercontinental qualifier, which will be held in March….What with the AFCON in Dec/Jan, Wissa could miss half of the second half of the season as well as all of the first half.
-
Week before the international break so he can play in the World Cup Knockouts🤪
-
Unless I’ve miscalculated……..Squad is now 24 (Lewis Miley) can be missed out cos he’s only 20…….. Goalkeepers -Nick Pope, Aaron Ramsdale, John Ruddy, Defenders -Kieran Trippier, Lewis Hall, Sven Botman, Fabian Schär, Jamaal Lascelles, Malick Thiaw, Emil Krafth, Tino Livramento, Dan Burn, Midfielders - Joelinton, Sandro Tonali, Anthony Gordon, Jacob Murphy, Joe Willock, Bruno Guimarães, and Jacob Ramsey. Forwards -Joane Wissa, Harvey Barnes, Will Osula, Anthony Elanga, and Nick Woltemade. THAT leaves space for 1 more……Midfield player anyone!

I went to my first game in 1960 v Burnley and Liverpool were languishing in the 2nd Division…They only became a premier club in the 60’s because they were fortunate enough to have an amazing manager in Shankley or else they’d probably still be a 2nd rate club….Always hated them as a club, particularly in the 70’s when they were on TV every bloody week…I bloody hate “the liver birds” (for those who can remember that awful scouse ridden comedy)…I’ve travelled all around the UK all my life and hand on heart i can say that Scousers are the worst set of miserable cunts to inhabit this country…i could go on……I’m not big fans of Man U, City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Spurs but they are reasonably acceptable clubs compared to this abomination of a club….DO NOT cave in and sell to this rabble…….Rant over😀
