As i mentioned earlier, no point in selling at this late stage, as we cannot use it productively, rather wait till January/End of Season where we can analyse the best way to utilise the money and a new CEO will be in place by then……Even if we buy 2 strikers (unlikely), let Isak sulk for a month or two….he’ll soon start to train and give us another option up front……Let him go in January, when we can fund some more squad members for the run in……ON NO ACCOUNT should we sell to the Dippers.

First away game……..FA Cup 1967……Travelling on supporters club coach to Notts Forest….Heard that Wyn wasn’t playing as he was having a cartilage operation….Lost 3-0, but 2 weeks later he was back playing at St Jame’s (in those days a cartilage operation would be at least 6 weeks out)….What a player…Rarely missed a game.

I remember that April/May 1965….Newcastle and Bolton both pushing for promotion….We won 2-0 and went on to win the League.

Remember there is a play-off round before you reach the League Status in the Conference League…..Therefore always a risk that you bugger it up and don’t reach the League Rounds….Would prefer Europa or CL as you know for definite that you are involved in the League set up.
