UNITED once again……Howay the Toon

This is great news for everyone. It’s been an emotional 18 months, and now we’ve got our club back. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what the arguments were with regards to the takeover….positive or those who couldn’t believe we were ever going to be under new owners……we are all supporters and dreamed that one day it would happen….HAPPY for everyone…we are all supporters at the end of the day and now we really are UNITED.

United at long last ……..we now ALL have a team, a city and and a purpose to follow.

318 pages of blood, sweat and tears…….hope I’m not Jumping the gun too soon but well done all those punters who have kept our hopes alive by posting “hope and support” for the takeover…..Reefatoon, nufcjb, Tron, Facundo ferreyra, robster, kanji, STM, rs, miggy’s first goal, 54, scotty 66, GWN, NE27,Ben and of course Whitley and Manor…..sorry if I’ve missed anyone of the positives out……Despite the tragic last 18 months, you’ve managed to stay hopeful for so long and provided , IMHO, an outlet to keep our hopes alive, when all around was despair…….I’m glad for all of us, and I mean, ALL, it doesn’t matter whether you never believed the takeover would happen…..We have now all got what we have deserved for so long……COME ON THE TOON???

I don’t think/hope any of us “ positive’s” would gloat when/if the takeover happens…..Personally I would be so ecstatic after such a prolonged nightmare, I would just be happy for all of us whichever side of the fence your opinions were. At the end of the day we all want the same thing, it’s just that most of us are just exhausted with it all and quite frankly I totally understand people’s doubts that the takeover will ever happen. When/ if it happens let’s ALL celebrate together….there will be no need for any “ I told you so” from either side of the discussions.?

Would love us to be a proper club again…From BBC earlier. Villa donate cup gate receipts This is a fantastic gesture from Aston Villa. The club have donated their share of the gate receipts from Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie against Barrow back to the League Two club. Couldn’t imagine Ashley’s Newcastle doing that.

OK we’ll agree to disagree on what constitutes a WUM……I’m only suggesting that ManorPark may have completely differing opinions and very strong views on what he believes will inevitably happen with the takeover but imho, he doesn’t deliberately set out to wind up readers and therefore try to invite strong backlash for his posts. There are some posters who’s only aim is to antagonise…..i don’t believe ManorPark is one of them.

He’s not a WUM…you may totally disagree with his opinions (that’s your right) and you may think he is completely wrong with his assumptions but ManorPark has been around this fansite for 14 years and contributed an awful lot to this, especially his memories of times gone by………Criticise his positivity but don’t call him a WUM.
