Looks like a fantastic buy to me, hope we get him. AFCON aside he ticks a lot of boxes for us and contrary to some of the drivel being spouted it shows a sensible transfer strategy: miss out on the high ceiling, low age players on our list and pivot to a cheaper sure thing for the position. Fingers crossed they can get it wrapped up and let’s see who they fancy for the high ceiling RCB.

The flogging him to Saudi in a few years angle has to be utilised, it’s the only ‘hack’ they’ve not outlawed yet. Allows us to buy exactly this profile of player without the obvious downside.
