The Finnish trialist Jukka Raitala says the trial came as quite a surprise: "Premierleague is a very physical league so I'm not sure it's the best place for me atleast at this point. But we'll soon see how I'll fit in and keep up with the others." -
Oh god no. Utter prick. Lazy. Drunk. Slow on the ball.... His brother Roman who's on loan at Dynamo Kiev from Udinese is another thing mind. Very promising 21 year old midfielder.

Raitala will definitely be off after the euro's next summer so we should really grab him now with less competition. -

We have a Finnish 20 year old defender on trial. Part of the U21 national team that qualified for the EUROs. I dont know much about him but he can play across the back four apparently. http://www.hs.fi/urheilu/jalkapallo/valioliiga/artikkeli/HJKn+Jukka+Raitala+Newcastlen+testiin/1135242831227 -

But lavish spending on big-name players was never part of Ashley’s masterplan when he took over back in June of 2007. “That was never going to be the way we would do things,” he said. “We had a long-term strategy.” but dont let a direct quote stop you. fire away. You couldnt make it up Anything to have a dig....
