They're fine as back up. Are they? If Beye was to get injured and be out for a few months would people be happy with one of these playing there every week? we cant sign a new player for every position ffs. right now its about priorities, and i would prefer geremi edgar or taylor playing at right back to zog, edgar or taylor playing at left back. beye is also better than enrique. we need a left back more than a right back, and we are very unlikely to sign 2 fullbacks this window. i though bassong was a right back as well. Bassong is CB/LB I think Personally im not too bothered if we dont sign any more defenders after Coloccini. N'zogbia & Bassong to cover left, Geremi or Taylor right. Midfield and attack should be priorities at this point.

I hope he gets rid of the agent. Seems like a right cockface. Can see him demanding a move to a bigger club in a year...or more money...

It's worth the money just for that. Honestly though mate, he's been one of my favourite non spurs players for a while now. I've seen more than enough of him to comfortably say that he'll be a massive success in this league. He has absolutly no faults (except maybe that he's not exactly fast, but fast enough). His reading of the game is immense. No doubts he'll be a future captain at Newcastle. The only other non spurs players in world football i like as much as Coloccini are Goran Pandev from Lazio and Angelo Palombo from Samp. Both will tear this league apart if given the chance Good to hear Not really as it's from kingdawson. Shut your face and let me believe!
