Mitrovic rarely does anything when he starts either tbf He's better than Cisse. There's genuinely no sense in not starting your best players.
-
It's alright though lads, Mitrovic is a cracking sub when you're 5-0 down.
-
Oh Cisse was offside again. Shocker.
-
NUFC's best moment of the half was a really shit Perez dive during a complete non-chance.
-
No non-Colback/Cisse suspension/injuries would be a mild victory from here.
-
Liverpool are a superb team atm.
-
We've been cunty tbf.
-
None of our midfielders have tracked runs into the channels for about 6 years. It's been an easy chance for opposition to get a goal for virtually free for fooking ages
-
Turned it on for the goal. Disappointed he's persisted with Cisse over Mitrovic.

Responded okay to going down. A lot of fight anyway. Not much of a plan going forward mind you. Unfortunately though, Liverpool look a cut above. Playing with real assurance on the ball in every third of the pitch.

Benched Excellent Makes sense, what with all of Southampton's other commitments in the Champions League and domestic cups. Twats.

Unmarked for an absolute age, there.

Martinez's achievement in making it on to the punditry couch circuit hasn't saved him from his innate flaw: forrin'.

Looking at team's potential based on the individuals they have has always, I agree, been backwards. Teams almost always prosper over a collection of individuals - and Leicester are the latest domestic team to prove that. They have done so emphatically. They may be the touch paper that finally gets English football to begin the arduous process of catching up with continental football (instead of throwing the most money at the biggest trophy players they can afford each transfer window), but at the moment the reality is that most English teams don't have the managers, coaching set-up, philosophy or desire to operate on any other basis than the status quo - so it's still not a bad barometer of how things "ought to be" IMO. For now.

I understand where you're coming from but when you throw in those "top 10" calibre players, and there's a fair few of them, with the likes of potential league-crushing strikers like Lukaku, and Barkley - they could be a force in the league. Barkley should be their Alli, Lukaku should be their Kane. They're severely underperforming under Martinez, there's no getting away from that. He seems unable to either sustain an inherited defence or build his own. Similar to Pardew in that way (which sounds more vicious than it was intended to) - without that, the rest of the team and his good attacking coaching abilities crumble on his foundations of sand. NUFC fans have been called deluded incorrectly.
-
Yup, McCarthy too.
-
Coleman and Baines are good fullbacks in this league (though the latter is getting on). Mirallas and Deufoleu are decent. Jagielka is decent for this league.
-
We generally like Klopp tbf. Have much less of a problem with them now they are without Gerrard and Suarez tbh. Shame their fans are complete and utter morons Know a fair few sound Liverpool fans atm.

147. Martial and Origi were shite.

One of the few bright spots this season. Hope he continue developing, gaining experience and staying under the radar.
-
This is ridiculous, the bloke had you finishing 5th, and now has kept you up comfortably. Careful what you wish for. With a club in disarray, a deluded, stubborn manager with increasingly bizarre selections, woeful underachievement and our best players likely to leave, I think I'm best suited to talk on this one mate. Who just got whooshed? Was it me?
-
Much worthier champions than Leicester IMO.
-
Honestly so impressed with him.
