  1. They've completely abandoned their natural game. It is very mental I agree. Trying to beat the whole Monaco team on their own instead of passing through them like they can. The volume of shit/misplaced passes is ridiculous. Almost unprofessional.
  2. So easy to play through. Monaco's forward line vs Mertesacker with one ball about four times now.
  3. Arsenal can still go through but they're panicking like fuck. Difficult to watch. They've not got their groove whatsoever. Not playing their natural game whatsoever and Giroud is showing how average he is. He'll be stroppy with the ref for not getting fouls soon no doubt, as per.
  4. Cool as ice finish. Calamity defending
  5. Commentators aren't half going over the top. Nightmare first half ffs They're 1 down.
  6. The most damning indictment of this regime yet tbh.
  7. Straight Atletico/Arsenal double
  8. Might be alright if fans start arguing over who is shitter, Pardew Carver or Lambert Sherwood, but I don't think they know Sherwood is crap yet.
  9. Zenit, Leverkeusen and Benfica though.
  10. You say that as if the World Cup hasn't previously been awarded to fascist Italy in 1934, the Argentinian military junta in 78 and Colombia in 86 a country riddled with internal corruption and a full scale guerilla drug war. Both South Africa and Brazil arguably have societal problems that give Russia a run for their money and both are vastly more dangerous countries for visitors than either Qatar or Russia. FIFA don't really give a shite, basically. Especially not when there is dollar to be pocketed. Most of those were before my time unsurprisingly South Africa/Brazil were controversial in so far as that there were policital/economic consequences of hosting them there and issues about profit distribution etc, but nothing which amounted to a serious human rights breach (as far as I know, happy to be corrected on this). Conversely, the upcoming two are absolutely appalling. You couldn't script two regimes more diabolical.
  11. The domestic schedule rejigging doesn't bother me half as much as the human rights issues in Russia/Qatar, and the domestic schedule rejigging is really, really, REALLY daft.
  12. Pele would have buried that like.
  13. Messi has been good, but I already knew he was class, the person on the pitch I've been most impressed with is the referee. Been really, really good.
  14. Why did I read that in Stallone's voice? Judge Dredd. Very distinguished way of saying 'law'. Loaaaar.
