  1. Hope they play brilliantly today, pulling for them - would love to see Remy bag a goal or 2 as well. Pretty big fortnight for our season!
  2. Wish he'd leave the club. So embarrassing.

    Fraser Forster

Way too expensive for a start.
  4. Milner rewarded for his fine display against Sunderland, his 0 assists or goals all season, all but assured of his place on the place - while Lallana / Rodriguez likely have 65 minutes each to prove themselves or be consigned to the scrapheap.
  5. How much does it cost to go and watch England these days? If watching England didn't include taking a day (or two) off work and an overnight stay I'd be tempted to go down sometime. I'm going to the Jormany game, not sure if they'll be any tempo or if it'll be pre-seasonish as they try and avoid injuries

    Nile Ranger

Would like to see Nile Ranger and James McClean have a match of chess. Real battle of wits.
  7. Last six defeats after Europa League games is different to six defeats after each of the last six Europa League games - which IMO would be more meaningful. With the volume of Europa League games, it's like saying they lost their last six league defeats after their manager had had a hot meal the night before.
  8. Anything above Villa is North presumably (for the purposes of that all-star thing)?
  9. Feel like going to the park and doing some free kicks now. Would probably do my hammy after my second kick and get injured so I'll stay here.
  10. Media machine working overtime to try and make Man Utd scary again
  11. Pretty shit half. Man Utd interested in ruffling Arsenal's feathers, and not much else, and it's worked.
  12. No one gambling on the near post when Navas receives it out wide. Mental.
  13. Went through a phase of pitying Sunderland, but if Man City score here I'll celebrate quite a bit I reckon
  14. Mackems are so unbeliveably cunty Fouling and diving so sneakily
  15. Agree with the sentiment insofar as I don't think we'll get to where we want to be under the current leadership long-term, but I do think these past games since the derby defeat represent a marked improvement in appetite and commitment from the players. The quality has always been there as far as I'm concerned, and maybe the level of effort we've seen should come as standard, but I'm still happy to see us not collapsing like a pack of cards against better sides in the league, let alone having the fortitude to grind out clean sheets (with a degree of fortune/goalkeeping excellence, admittedly) and produce some problems going the other way. Don't think we can push on much further than type of performance against a 'better' side though, and today isn't the realisation of my wildest footballing dreams (not even close if I'm honest) but it does represent the absolutely apex for Ashley/Pardew.
  16. Great win. Second half was a slog, and we're very thankful to Krul, but well done to the players for showing steel. Again. Could get used to seeing that level of grit. This season, certain individuals have really playing as though they have a point to prove - and some of them do. Excellent stuff.
