  1. Coulden't agree more. Scapegoat tastic really, he was no good against Derby but he wasn't any worse than most of the others. Owen and Shola were starved of service by our zero creativity against Derby. Roze was probably our worst player that night, as although impressed with him getting forward well, that night he missed an absolute sitter, let Howard have no fewer than 6 good headers at our goal (thank god he has poor aim), plus him and cacapa missed the header that led to their goal. But yes lets all have a go at Shola instead. Shola missed one decent chance which the only one he had all game! He did no worse than Owen etc Again i am not saying Ameobi is brilliant, far from it he's been poor in his two starts (as viduka was in his first 3), just this is way over the top. Regarding the other game he played in Arsenal Ameobi is no LW same as Smith is no RW yet thats more down to Sam than them if they do not produce anything of note from these positions. Viduka has been shit against Bolton, Villa & Boro (bar his goal) and Wigan i missed. Must Say brilliant in his last game V WH lets hope he can keep it up.
  2. Agreed, he really is a handfull and could link up with Rooney and /or Owen very well. Wish we signed him now!
  3. Totaly agree with your team and subs. I would have played Taylor with Cacapa if fit though, as Roz has been found out in the air, that's a big weakness for a CB, i hope he can sort it out though. I'm expecting a 451 from Sam.
  4. Agreed. Anyone (that wasn't a foetus) that saw Keegans team play would vote for him. FYP.
  5. You Wind up merchant from hell!! Surely no one will fall for this though.
  6. Agreed. Anyone (with half a brain) that saw Keegans team play would vote for him.
  7. Got to be Geremi for me as he seems to be the most involved out of the current three, covers the most ground, wins the tackles/ball and plays it well too. Emre is a possibility but i feel Sam may want Joey bombing forward and i'd have to agree at the moment. I rate Emre but i feel with Geremi and Barton we could be onto a really fantastic pairing.
  8. I agree and at the moment i'd agree with SA if he opts for Barton Geremi over the rest.
  9. Must admit since Arsenal are playing with their kids, imo its the perfect oppourtunity to hit them hard with the best 442 team (well left) available to us (see my sig bellow imo). That could well result in a fantastic thriller of a match! They probably woulden't expect us to do this either and we could catch them offguard and pull off a surprise win, especially since its against inexperienced youngsters. However i agree SA will probably want to try to nulify their game, frustrate the hell out of them, drag them down into the gutter with us to slug it out and try to nick a goal and defend it. Its not always the prettyest football but the man seems to know how to get results (as our league position proves) and thats all really that maters! As i said I hope for the 442 in my sig but expect more of a bruising midfield: Given Beye? Taylor Roze Enrique Smith Butt/Faye Geremi Martins Ameobi Zoggy

  11. Not the team i'd pick, as i'd go more posiively with a 442 especially since their not at full strength. But i have a feeling your probably right in guessing BSA's team . BSA seems to like to nulify the oppositions attacking threat 1st. Possible differences being Faye and Milner out for Butt and Zoggy. He still may surprise us all sticking with Zoggy LB, although this seems the perfect chance for Enrique.
  12. I'd go with that IF Viduka's fit. If not Smith up top. Emre i'd maybe play if i knew he was definately ready.
  13. I was thinking about 'toptoon' at the match, wondering how many more he thought Ameobi would have "scored/created" as he put it. After being our most disapointing player for me so far this season up until yesterday. Viduka shone and had a very good game, very impressed with first header in particular, second was put on a plate for him via the Zog and it came off his shins, but in fairness good positioning and some decent link up play too. His best game for us by a million miles so far, hope he keeps this up. While in most games he's been marked out the game by stronger defenders and provided us with very little, he had more room to work in yesterday (due to their defence our fullbacks mainly) and was provided with crosses of the highest quality for both his goals via The Zog. Will hopefully do his confidence the world of good, much more of the same now please. I still have my doubts that he'll be effective at all in other games with class defenders but for now well done I now know he is capable for us!
  14. Very impressed overall Harper - 8 Good saves got down quickly and good distribution Beye 8 Very very Good Debut. Got forward well at times and looked solid defending too. Could be a very important player. Cacapa 7 good on the deck but questionable in the air Roze 7 Same as above Zoggy 9 Defended okish but going forward incredible won us the game, use on the LW from now on please. Smith 7 good defensively but offered little going forward until used as one. Butt 7 good game Geremi 7 Very involved i thought Milner 7 Good Owen 6.5 some good link up play Viduka 8 Not my favourite player but best game so far for us by miles, very good header for first and some decent link up play too. Martins 7 - Set up Zoggy's goal and should have scored one he made for himself, a real threat on the break very unlucky not to start imo Enrique 6.5 looked good enough for the short time he was on. Taylor 6.5 - Good
  15. Agreed. Sure Big Sam will call it right though.
  16. Obviously Zoggy. Very big 'IF' Duff gets back to top form. Zoggy's player of the season so far and absolute class atm It'd be a nice problem to have 'IF' Duff recaptures some great form. We need a squad that gives us these options because we'll undoubtably have injuries. I think like most Zoggy for LW but BSA seems to love him at LB, i woulden't be hugely shocked if he plays Zoggy LB and duff LW! Although Enrique and Zogg it is for me.
  17. Fantastic debut by Beye, looked top top quality. He made a big difference imo and managed to get forward quite a bit too, we've been crying out for someone of his quality for a while now i just pray that he doesn't get injured as he'll make a big difference to us this season.
  18. If thats true. We still need to try and be more positive and create for Owen etc. I'd put Edgar LB or even Baba because we need zoggy futher up the pitch. I'd either go: Given Beye Cacapa Taylor Edgar Milner Smith Geremi Zoggy Owen Martins or Given Beye Cacapa Taylor Zoggy Milner Smith Geremi Martins Owen Ameobi * puts tin hat on in preparation for the Anti Shola brigade* Big Sam will probably play Butt, Smith and Geremi. Leaving Martins on the bench
  19. Pretty much what most of us thought. What a waster/wanker. Hope he tears his hamstring again or alot worse. Twat is laughing all the way to the bank though at our expense. > How can anyone seriously feel sorry for him? He's the epitomy of a foriegn mercenary from hell! Good riddance to a horrible piece of shit. We are still paying for Soumess's numerous mistakes.
  20. Fully agree. Midfield was our biggest failure on Monday night, balance mostly was the issue along with alot of other things but with Jose Enrique slotting into Left Back and N'Zogbia playing his favored Left Wing role with Milner on the Right it should certainly help the balance that was lacking against Derby. Hope to see... Given Beye Taylor Rozenhal Enrique Milner Geremi Emre N'Zogbia Martins Viduka Subs- Harper, Cacapa, Faye, Smith, Owen Normally I am confident but West Ham have some good good players Bellamy, Ljungberg and most of all Scott Parker the dreadful performance on Monday night against a woeful Derby side still haunts me so all I am hoping for is a positive performance. Totally agree on the Enrique and Zoggy front. Bellamy's out with groin strain, but Parker expected to make West ham debut. They'll probably go with ashton and Carlton cole up top so i hope taylor comes in at CB otherwise Roze is in for another tough time and Ashton in particular may have a field day.
  21. Steven Taylor is not a left-back. No s***, Sherlock. If Enrique isn't fit to play, though, who is a better alternative? Taylor has played there before for us and done alright, nobody else in the squad has bar N'Zogbia. We surely cannot play another game with Smith - Butt - Geremi - Milner as our midfield, the best solution to that in my eyes is to move someone else to LB and push Charles to LW, while bringing in a more attacking RB (Beye) to balance it out a bit. If Enriqe's out play Zoggy LB and put Martins on the wing, better than Smith thats for sure. We need Taylor CB or Ashon may have a field day if Howard from Derby was anything to go by.
  22. I was impressed with Roze for getting forward so much. However not so impressed that he let Howard have at least 6 good headed chances on goal plus he missed a sitter himself. Roze is good on the deck, very tidy and good getting forward but i'd let Taylor mark Dean Ashton on Sat with either Cacapa or Roze. He could also be tried in the defensive CM role.
  23. Well where is Pattison in that case?
  24. Taylor and Smith down the right again, and Butt? Seriously? If Enrique can't make the team (meaning N'Zogbia has to stay at left-back), i'd rather have Milner down the right and Emre on the left - rather than have Smith anywhere near the midfield. Agree with Yorkie thats the worst team on here, against Derby there was no creativity from the RW or CM, did you not see Smith's ineffectiveness on the RW and how little creativity Butt and Geremi provided? + Rozenhal let Howard have 6 good headers on goal, Ashton will murder him in the air, so Taylor should start imo. Hopefully Enrique will be in and we can push Zoggy up on the wing. Emre IF fit would be a bonus too.
  25. Agree with HTT yes he wasn't good but no worse than the majority. Alladyce started the rot by picking Smith on the RW and Butt and Geremi in the center, basically we had no creativity from the center or the RW opting for a more solid but too negative MF. Singling out Ameobi is wrong as like Owen the was starved of any service (bar one chance). Roze let Howard have at least 6 good heading chances on goal and missed a sitter. Butt and Geremi created nothing as did the out of position Smith. We need to be more positive have a real good go at teams, untill Barton's back ideally a midfield of: Milner Geremi Emre* Zoggy *or smith if Emre not fit. If Enrique's not fit then Zoggy LB and play Martins on the wing as at least he's going to create chances for us and cause big problems.
