nothing a big pie won't fix. Don't know what your problem is with Viduka, so far you have been proven wrong. I said he was a class player based on what he produced last season, which you laughed at. For us this season he's scored one goal against one of England's finest defenders and it was a goal that had class stamped all over it. These are the facts, plain and simple. You have got to be kidding? Other than score one admittedly good goal he has been very very disapointing. He's been marked out/completely dominated by his markers, he's not created anything or been able to hold the ball up and he'd looked as dangerous as..... pattison. Martins and Owen have to start imo

Glad to have Smith here, good/decent player imo Might struggle to get in the team once Bartons back as he'll be in competition with Butt, Faye, Geremi, Emre and possibly Zoggy too, for one of two other CM spots. We now seem to have a properly balanced squad with big competition for places which we haven't had in a while!!! This is BS's 1st Transfer too! The future looks very bright imo!

He's got some promise, i can't see him breaking into the team though at the moment there's way too much quality ahead of him. Personally i don@t think he@ll make it with us

100% agree. Viduka has been crap so far, i'd bring shola on before him. f****** hell we have some knee jerkers here. I'd remind yourself of some of shola's performances in the PL before you start saying stuff like that. I wouldn't start Owen in the PL until he shows us he's capable of scoring goals, which may be a while. Viduka has been very very poor so far imo.he scored one addmittedly good goal but other than that has contributed nothing and not even looked half dangerous as he's been completly dominated by his markers. Shola would have scored/contributed more imo. Martins has to play and im 50/50 if its with shola or Owen.

Bar the one good goal, Viduka has looked crap up top creating nothing and being totally dominated, he's WAY TOO SLOW AND UNMOBILE TO PLAY IN A 433! If Ameobi had played as poorly we'd be howling for him to be dropped. I seriously believe Ameobi would have created/scored more than Viduka so far. I believe he deserves his chance now at least. He is also the most suited striker we have in a 433. Ok if he looks crap then its time for a rethink as we need to try owen there too. I'd go once everyones fit: Given Geremi Taylor Roze Enrique Barton Butt Zoggy Martins Milner Owen/Shola Subs: Harper, Cacapa, Smith, Emre, Owen/Shola Cacapa looks very promising and could force his way in,as could the rest of the bench. Viduka looks to slow and unmobile to play at the top of a 433. Shola would seriously be better, his shooting whilst not as good as Viduka's and has been poo in the past, has improved. He would create alot more for himself and others than Viduka. Owen could also prosper up top, we'd have to keep it on the floor, which isn't a bad thing.

Barton has the potential to be ours when he comes back, as does Martins. Other than that we haven't really got one at the moment and i don't think we need one.

Looks about right to me, i'd have Geremi at RB though as think that could be his best position for us.

Boro were there for the taking imo and we coulden't capatlise at all, disapointed. Harper7 good saves Car 4 - seriously think he got injured because he knew he was being skinned Taylor - 6 disapointing erorr for Mido's goal (and i'm a big fan usually) other than that good. Roze - 7good Zoggy 8 good display, good goal, needs to play further forward imo Smith 6.5 good in parts went missing in others Geremi 7 good enough game got back well, best of the midfield 3 imo Butt 6.5 ok ish Milner 7 constant threat unlucky with the penalty decision and got hacked to bits Martins 7 see milner Viduka 6 very good goal but other than that did sweet fa and would have got a rating of 3 otherwise Ramage 6 ok Cacapa 7.5 looked very very good in the short time he was on Owen 5 didn't do much imo Big Sam 6 - well we are still unbeaten and now look hard to beat, but car and viduka played and probably shoulden't have, this could have tippped the balance in our favour imo. Play a decent RB and drop the duke please sam, Owen or even shola would have created /scored more than Viduka.

Did confuse me reading Monkeys post as to where yours went. Been very disapointed with Viduka so far, i thought that when Owen came on v Villa he should have replaced Viduka not Martins. Shola looked far more of a threat in his 10 mins than Viduka in his 80. IMO Viduka and owen are the type that need creativity around them, however for a big guy Viduka has been completely physically dominated in both matches so far and is looking far from promising as he's hardly had a sniff at goal. OK This could change obviously as its still very early days but so far its a bit worrying.

As has already been mentioned its funny that neither players are probably first choice strikers for our next game and yet they start for the national side. No idea how Owen will do, as he's not done anything of note for us yet. I feel England are doing us a favour for once though with Owen as he needs games and i'd love him to have a storming game and score a few, althogh i doubt this will happen. Saying that if either got injured i'd still be a bit pissed off, although you kind of almost expect it with little Mickey the delicate little flower.

Martins anyday. Martins has great pace, is only 22, a great attitude, fitness record and a great work ethic. Martins is more likely to create something out of the two. He scored 17 goals for us last season after a poor start and then looked great, he'll score alot more this season even by playing this deeper role if he gets the games. I wouldn't mind Anelka aswell but given the choice its Martins every which way i look at it. Anelka needs creativity around him just as Owen and Viduka do. Martins is clearly the better player as he creates for others/himself and scores great goals, tap ins headers, he has two great feet and is lightning fast. he's probably been our best player so far why would people want rid?
