  1. At least you aren't subjected to the '$5 foot long' jingle.
  2. The current regime - which until this point have been totally incapable of any sort of media management - have contacted a reporter at The Independent and planted a false story about the club's finances in order to discredit Kevin Keegan, days before they apparently intend to sell the club. For the purposes of affecting the outcome of the tribunal or fooling the supporters? In all honesty? If that's true then it's a last ditch attempt to blacken Keegan's name because they must know that they (the club) are going to lose the case. Keegan gets his pay-out and it's countered that it could push us into admin. It's a dirty trick and a poor one at that. I think it is very unlikely that Ashley & Llambas have any friends in the media who would print a false story intended to discredit Kevin Keegan, or they would have used them during the last year of chaos and misinformation. Not shortly before they intend to leave the club, and simply for the purposes of a vendetta against Keegan.

  4. So you reckon Keegan doesn't understand who he's seeking compensation from? You don't think his lawyers or the Premiership tribunal have explained that to him?

  6. Bill Shankly took my gran to hospital when she gave birth to my dad.
  7. Not a fan, but he is big and physical, something this squad lacks and something you need in this league.
  8. Glad I didn't watch that ManU/City game. Sounds like good football, but nevertheless profoundly irritating on many levels.
  9. This will be the one piece of recurring transfer rumour bullshit that comes true won't it?
  10. I can understand a healthy debate over Keegan's sacking and his role in what happened last season, but surely there isn't anyone that wants to see him awarded the 8 million? Unless I'm mistaken, that would be money from NUFC to Kevin Keegan, not Mike Ashley to Kevin Keegan? So it would be the club losing out?
  11. That is exactly why I expected us to struggle in this league and why the good start was such a surprise. If that was the case, then they had better snap out of it.
  12. I really wish he'd break his leg, but not in a malicious way. A clean break. It just seems like the only way to keep him out of the team. Graeme Souness of all people was the one manager to understand this.
  13. Well, its a poor result, but at least we have the benefit of Nicky Butt's invaluable leadership and experience. We can at least take some consolation in that.

  15. He kept Butt on the bench and we won. I cannot ask for more.
  16. His leadership and experience will be invaluable.
  17. Loving this. Enjoy it Bilic, enjoy it.
  18. Win in Cardiff and I'm sold.
