  1. How do you know he wasn't offered a new contract? After 22 years of following English football, in this day and age I'd take the player's word of our owners any day of the week. Did Barton ever claim he was never offered a contract? Willie McKay: Willie Mckay?, he's f***ing worse than Ashley!! Also he doesn't say Barton has never been offered a contract. They could have already offered him a deal, he rejected it and they told him he wouldn't be offered anything more. Why on earth would they not offer him any kind of contract?, that makes no sense. Sorry I hadn't realised Willie McKay was proven in court to deliberately mislead fans/customers and to lie openly. Please point me to where it shows McKay is less honest than this. And Mackay isn't the one ruining Newcastle United. Exactly! Joey Barton is! Symptom =/= cause

Cause it doesn't make any sense and the people running this club don't have one iota how to run a club.
  3. How do you know he wasn't offered a new contract? After 22 years of following English football, in this day and age I'd take the player's word of our owners any day of the week. Lets not forget the same owners that were proven in court to be liars and people who deliberately mislead their customers and employees. Yeap but I would not trust a convicted criminal, who has a c*** of an agent in Willie McKay either. A convicted criminal who owned up to all charges. Doesn't make him a liar. Haven't seen Ashley admit much recently since his last 'statement' where from his error-strewn first season plunged us into the Championship and feared for his safety.

  6. He made a stink because he was told someone better at taking free-kicks and corners was going to be doing that from now on. That is child-like behaviour and as a player, you don't have a say in that. That is making a statement that you don't respect the decisions of the manager, and no doubt the stink was thrown up in front of other players. That's really gonna help improve team spirit!! Not offering this guy a new contract was exactly the right thing to do IMO, sorry. Did you watch the match? Do you have any ideas as to the personality of the man? It's purely sarcastic.

  9. Yep, like Ben Arfa, Marveaux and Cabaye. Don't recall us linked much with Cabaye or Marveaux

    Alan Pardew

At least Kinnear appeared to try to do what he thought was best and pushed through the Nolan deal. Hard to see what Pardew has done, his fault or not.
  11. Still confused why people can still explain away why he wasn't offered a new contract which he said he'd sign on less money. He only kicked off after this, when he realized the people in charge had absolutely no clue whatsoever.

    Alan Pardew

Don't get too attached to Colo - he'll be off next summer. Oh noes 3 of our highest earners are unarguably 3 of our best players. We must get rid!
  13. You're spot on, everything's fine and we're not going to struggle at all this forthcoming season, oh no. Yeah everything's gonna be fine, Ben Arfa going to recover to be 100% of what he was an not get injured again whatsoever Demba Ba is going to relive his purple patch of 5 months with West Ham for the whole season for us Cabaye going to make Scholes look like a blind Vinnie Jones in centre mid Tiote going to single handedly nullify every single midfield player in the Premier League, and he won't get any second season syndrome at all All our players going to get on and squad will feel unified after the "bad boys" have gone, there won't be a group of french, group of spanish speakers, and a group of english players
  14. Thought he did ok tbh On issue, the entirety of our creative/goalscoring force has been moved on since January. Replaced with players that have never played in the Premiership, who may take time to adapt if at all, and one who didn't speak more than 5 words of English before signing. Relegationometer ->>>
  15. While every one is happy that all the 'trouble makers' are being shipped out, care to explain how we're staying up this season?
  16. And you'd be sacked. I wasn't
  17. Ashley doesn't give 2 shits about the club image so long as he doesn't have to pay out his contract.
  18. Wot's ee sayin'? to sum it up, he's said players shouldn't be running the club and criticising players for tweeting as they have I bet he backed up Souness with Bellamy too. Today's twitter is yesterday's TV interviews.
  19. Ashley + Llambias - proven liars in court. Not one penny spent of the money that was promised to the manager to be spent in it's entirety. Players disillusioned that money got from star player has not been invested as promised. Not one penny spent of TV money (which equates to less than 50% of gross turnover) and wages at a 5 year low. Jose Enrique wants to play for Spain, can't do it here at a selling club when he was told it was a club that would be challenging for trophies and Europe Barton wants to stay and play, for less money than he was on. Leader on the pitch and we had no team without him last season. People still defending the lying, selfish see you next tuesdays at the top funneling all the cash out of the club to repay loans from Ashley while saying it's for the team. It's not as if he's short on cash is he. Only has his own interests at heart, which appears to be the desire to prove you can run a PL club at a profit, regardless of it's effect on it's fans/customers. Abusing and exploiting people for every single penny he can when in reality if he had the interests of the people at heart he could have bought us into the top 4 as quick as City.
  20. The guy is just looking to cause as much drama as possible. Ultimately he knows it won't cost him anything. Pathetic guy. Heh, yeah. Maybe he should have considered what his actions could do to the honor of the club before spilling his over emotional ramblings. Guy was willing to take a pay cut to stay, what other top quality players in their prime would do that? Plenty of clubs would be willing to offer him a deal after last season. Erm, that's totally irrelevant here. Move along. He feels betrayed, other players have come out and done similar in the past. Only Bellamy springs to mind recently but I know there was an occasion this season with another player too.

  22. Wouldn't surprise me if he funded the creation of said motivational poster.
  23. Managers job to handle difficult players and to stand up to the board. In a years time, a la Souness, we'll all realise who the real evil ones are. Bellamy? There are no such thing as difficult players, just bad managers/bad owners. Most of the best players are difficult by definition. Would imagine Rooney would hardly have been an angel had he signed for us. Pardew isn't stupid, if he wanted Joey to play a role this season for him he would have told him to stfu and get off twitter. He didn't, he can't manage him and/or puppeted by Llambias/Ashley. Barton is a very, very good player and it will be an absolute disaster to have have lost him, Nolan and Carroll in a 6 month period and replace them with unknown French (probable) bottlers. Ashley/Llambias just can't sit back and let a manager do his job. Their meddling and playing real-life FM with our club is the last straw. Sorry for lack of articulation, am in a rage.
