From where they were last season, I thought they were finally doing a bit better now. Something's clearly happened in the past couple of weeks to provoke what Amorim's said, it sounds like he was told his contract wasn't going to be renewed no matter what happens and just to coach and pick the team and he's had a Benitez-esque "As always I am focused on training and coaching my team" moment, but he's just not very good at playing the game and made himself unemployable.
