Ironing on that sleeve is criminal

3rd ep was my favourite tbh.

Literally the worst way to manage a squad in my opinion. What's the point in having squad depth then not dropping out of form players. Where's the motivation for the 'best XI' if they know they'll get picked no matter how badly they play. I'm Joelinton's biggest fan but he shouldn't have started Liverpool let alone Brighton. Anderson and Longstaff should have had way more minutes in the first 4 games imo.

So pumped, bring it on -
Rome wasn't built in a day. We're not going to win every game. We're going to lose some games we'd hope/expect to win.

It's what the team seems to be evolving into, but Howe wants to see Almiron play himself out of the team I think.

What do you do, funfair children's face painter?

Tbh I'd go as far to say as far as central defenders go, he's great at attacking set pieces. I think if he'd have had more playing time through an injury to either Schar or Botman, he might have caused Howe some questions as he's so much better than either attacking the ball. He didn't get much of a run with Trippier when Trippier first joined because of his injury, and was then displaced that summer with Botman so we never got to see it much. Disclaimer : Never in a million years should he start ahead of either right now, but to see Lascelles attack more of Trippier's set pieces would have been good.

That guy that wanted to be reincarnated to support Newcastle again, I teared up a bit. I'm a such a soft shite.

Great recognition on the Prime show -
3 points after Villa (H) and City (A) I'd have taken at the start of the season. With a +3 GD I'd have bitten your hand off. There's a long, long way to go yet.

Succinct and completely correct.

All players' distances covered doesn't fit the narrative, so McCoist just completely ignores Bruno tops the list with the next 5 spots all City players 'No surprises there' followed by 5 seconds of silence whilst they mute their mics and have a chuckle between themselves. Cunts.

Schar and Botman showing their class, what a partnership.

Botman again, our MOTM

Howe is a phenomenal manager. For Miggy to get this much game time despite his performance boggles my mind, he must value effort and following instructions (Miggy, passer pelota Kieran) almost above all else.
-
Na, City are playing very well and there's a lot of unforced errors from our lot, some players in particular just making terrible decisions. Pressure of the game seems to be getting to them.
-
Hiding to nothing really, it'll be good for Anderson

Almiron playing himself out of the first XI. I can't say I'm too disappointed, there's a number of options I'd like us to try without him.
-
Ederson is so, so good on the ball.
-
As well as the rest, or as well as his last game? Cause he was great against Villa no question.
-
Great tackle Diaz

They're done their homework, it's why Walker's basically had a free game to do whatever he likes because he can just run back to cover no matter what Burn does.
