Strikers Wouldnt be bothered if they all left as long as good replacements came in Midfielders Keep: Milner, N'Zogbia. Again, wouldnt break my heart if any of the others left Defenders Keep: Enrique (so we can see if he can play football), Beye, Faye. Goalkeepers Wouldnt be bothered if Harper or Given left. Keep Krul though The sad thing is I feel our club still needs a complete overhaul. I'm not saying all the players i'd be happy to see go are crap, but we either need a new manager who can do something with them, or some serious upgrades in each department.

I'd have him here at a sensible price (£3m max). Reckon he's still got a bit to offer, scored a couple of goals since his return from injury. At the same time, West Ham don't have many striking options and still Curbishley won't play him, which doesnt sound too promising.

Posh probably sorted out the appropriate attire.

More respect to you mate.

Jesus fuckin christ. My point is that Ferguson could still spend the money wisely and Man U would still be a good team. Owen was shite, RvN was shite, Henry was shite. Ronaldo is god-like.
-
Man Utd are a good team enough to compensate for his flaws, and could get away with using him sparingly, whereas we'd be pinning all our hopes on him. First, where has this rumour came from? first Ive heard of it. Secondly, S.S.R is totally right, is a bit different Larsson stepping into the Manure team, to the Nufc team. As the old saying goes "my granny could score goals for Man U" - we are a totally different kettle of fish and Larsson would be no help. How many people on here have seen Larsson play this season? (I know theres a few Swedes on here) I have, and i don't think he's premiership quality any more. Bring back Shearer too!

So he isn't playing the best football of his career? Just after winning the player and players player of the year awards, also been named the 3rd best player in the world, when would you say he was playing his best football then? About it being totally wrong and the others being past their best. Owen was 24 when he went to Real, in hindsight the early days were his best compared to now, but then he was still Liverpools number one striker and a big loss. The next season they won the CL. Henry was a massive loss for Arsenal, fuckin hell he was and still is a great player. Many people doubted Arsenal last year after other key losses, but Wenger has a potential Premier Champions team now. RvN, a lot of fans didnt agree with his sale, he is a pure goalscorer, IMO they havent replaced RvN like for like (Rooney and Tevez are different types of players) but Ferguson (with the obvious help of Ronaldo) has a great team again. Whats to say he can't replace Ronaldo and still have a great team? Thats my point. Ronaldo leaving won't be the end of manure.

I don't think Man U would be better off with another £80m to spend minus Ronaldo. Where would they put that money? They'd need a new RW, but that's about it really, except perhaps for back-up players. So, who'd they spend that cash on to make them a better team? Messi? Couldn't agree more, why fix something that isn't broken. But its not a case of "why fix something that isn't broken" - i'm sure Man U don't wonna sell him, and Fergie doesn't want the £80m, BUT if Ronaldo decides he's away, they'll have no option but to fix the fucker. Which you claim is possible, how can Manchester United replace Cristiano Ronaldo with a replacement who is capable of scoring/assisting the amount of goals he does? As Towelie said, even with 60m you couldn't do that unless you bought someone of similar ability like Messi for e.g What are the chance of that happening? Your comment was about not fixing it if it aint broken. If Ronaldo wants to leave, it will have to be fixed. Do you reckon Manure couldnt win the league without him? Yep he's a fuckin awesome player, and almost impossible to replace but other clubs have lost great players, spent the money wisely and still been equally as successful. You could have similar arguments for Henry at Arsenal, Owen at Liverpool or Van Nistelrooy at Man U. Totally wrong, the three players you just mentioned left their clubs after they'd had their best years at the club, Ronaldo is playing the best football of his career at the moment. Gonna have to agree to disagree, particularly on your last point.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking - we ain't gonna get relegated, and we aint gonna win the cup, but it would be nice to get especially excited about 3 or 4 games.
-
Hope not. We must be fuckin desperate.

18 goals from the wing? Wouldn't miss him much at all. Yes i know he's scored loads, but I'm sure Fergie if anyone could spend the money wisely and replace those goals.
-
£25m maybes, not fuckin £80m, no chance. Imagine how good Man Ure would be if they had another £80m to spend, dare say they wouldn't miss Ronaldo that much.

What would people prefer us to aim for? Most would agree we aint gonna win the cup, but again most would agree we aint gonna finish in Europe. If we get past Stoke on Sunday, would people prefer we concentrated on a cup run, or the league? (main issue would be resting players) For the media, they want 'the romance of the fa cup' to happen in giant killings or shocks, but ultimately i reckon they want 'the big 4' in the semi's and final. I would fucking love to see Everton, Villa or Man City win it this year! Obviously I would love us to win it more, but realistically think those have a better chance. (recognise Villa have a tough start mind)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/r/reading/7168675.stm Shame he says he doesn't care, i reckon he does. But, he's right to be honest, and how many teams do genuinely have a chance of winning the FA Cup? Last time a non 'big 4' won it was Everton in 1995, and I don't see that changing this year.

Yeah according to a crap newspaper, weve had a loan bid rejected, but we can buy him if we want. EDIT: I apologise, the Independent is also running this story too... And the MEN about Wes Brown

Reckon we'll get 2 signings - maybes a freeby and a youngster for the future.

Stoke. -
Think its a non-starter, can't see KK ever returning to management or any top-level football position.
-
I think 6 points would be enough, it would mean the scum (and others) needing at least 15 points, which i cant see them getting. But, 9 will seal survival. I think we'll be lucky to beat our worst ever premiership points total, and its shit that we are even mentioning points needed for relegation survival.

If we lose, he should have he decency to resign. (I fuckin wouldn't like, if i knew sooner or later I'd earn £9m!) -
Absolutely. Surely not even in the darkest scenario can anyone think relegation is a real possibility? We'd have to go winless for the rest of the season to get relegated IMO. Surely we'll pick up at least a couple, and it we don't - we bloody well deserve to be relegated!

No he didnt, he's best mates with Hutton and didn't wonna let him down...
