Anyone got a link to this information where Mourinho can't manage this season? Is it definitely the whole season, or just 2007?

I'd be happier for KK to come in, and Mort give him £100m to try and bring back "the good old days" than for the likes of Redknapp, Hughes and McClaren. Not saying I want KK, but i really don't want the other 3.

If Redknapp dares, he knows its rock hard to succeed but he'll have a great pay-off if it goes tits up, like Souness and Allardyce.

Ashley needs to bring in a top manager the fans want and are happy with, otherwise its a uphill struggle from day 1. Less people on here want Redknapp than did Allardyce, so he'll find it hard to be given time. Needs to be a top foreign guy.

We don't know the exact circumstances, whats to say fat sam isn't very good at bullshitting and acting. Personally he comes across as a crook, so wouldnt suprise me, just like Souness. I'm sure he's smiling with his £5m in the bank this morning to be fair. I don't think he ever really wanted this job, it was just too much money to turn down. Similar to Luque.

I don't think anybody will expect him to turn it around in 5mins, but almost everyone will be happy with his appointment and willing to give him time. If we get Redknapp, we'll be in the same position as Allardyce, if not worse. Seems not many on here want Redknapp, but most wanted fat Sam. NUFC need to appoint a good manager that the fans are happy with, otherwise its 10 times more difficult for them to succeed.

As mentioned in other threads, this is Ashleys chance to make it 100% his club, and bring in who he wants. I see no reason why he wouldnt be like most toon fans and want the best, that means top foreign managers, not shite like McClaren and Redknapp. Its his chance to make a statement of intent, and I believe he's got somebody great lined up. If not, he won't be standing with the fans for many more games.
