great thread... one minute u seem to be pissing yourself in excitement that Robet (not Robert) is playing, next u call him shit.
-
Man U have scored 61 goals so far this season, next closest is Arsenal on 46. Newcastle have 32. Lowest in the prem is Watford (14) and West Ham (18)

and then it was 4 HAHAHAHAHA Love It!

nice to see spurs 3-0 down at home mackems.gif

I thought exactly the same today, he made some good touches, and nice passes, but they ended in the recipient doing nothing with it. One that stood out (not to have a go at Milner) was when Oba dribbled round about 3 in the centre circle, deked his man and put it out wide to an open Milner, who miss controlled and it went for a throw. Also a couple of times when Duff didnt pick him out in the box, u could see he was seething!

Watched the game live on Swedish TV. We were decent in the first half, and unlucky not to score on the Taylor save/Dyer goal line block. Second half we were second best, and Fulham could have scored a lot more...All in all, a poor display. If we play like that, and get get points at places like Fulham, we wont be in the Uefa Cup next season. Duff and Carr are playing in the wrong league, Dyer looked decent, Milner decent in first half, Gooch seemed pretty steady, Oba had a canny game and deserved his goal, nice finish too.
-
Forgot about Luque.... he's so shit, and unlikely to play, i dont even consider him as part of NUFC. Usually go into the same mode with Dyer when he picks up a knock and you know he'll be out for 3-4 months

As normal, there will be next to no punishment for Italian teams. Had it been a British club however...

GID RID OF: Carr Baba Bernard Moore Bramble Emre Duff Sibierski Sign 1 x RB, 2 x LB, 1 x good experienced CB, 1 x RW, 1 Attacking midfielder (who actually scores goals ), 1 Striker. RB: Solano + ONE CB: Taylor, Ramage, Huntington, Gooch, + ONE LB Edgar + TWO RW Milner + ONE CM: Dyer, Parker, Butt + ONE LW: Zoggy, Duff ST: Owen, Martins, Ameobi + ONE I know im asking for 7 signings, which isnt gonna happen, we'll be very lucky if we get 4.

Robinson is not even in the top 10 best keepers in the prem, and playing terribly at the mo. Terry has got a back injury, or at least has had one keeping him out, Parkers hardly played in the last month or two... England is just such a piss poor set up, instead of picking in form players, we just always pick the same bunch.
-
The solidity at the back didnt last that long though! But yeah he seems decent.

I dare say weve already wasted £200m over the years. You could take our current squad, and put out 11 foreigners, or 11 Brits n it wouldnt make much difference, they'd be a 5th-8th position team.
-
We could spend £200m+ (and we'd waste it) We could have no Englishmen (just a squad of overpaid hasbeens) We do most weeks anyway... We are NUFC, so goodness knows what it'll take for us to win something?
-
im sorry to say, i just looked at him and thought "bramble" arrrrrrgh! Hope he does the biz tho.

Spurs are my most hated team except the macks, as every single one ive met talks like they are Premiership winners, been the most successful team ever, have the best players in the world, cant see any way they can lose.. I worked with a guy who spouted shite about them for 3 months.. Was sat in a pub in London watchin England vs Wales, and being told every 5mins how Jenas was the player Spurs needed and would lead them into Champs League, how Robinson was one of the best 3 goalies in the world, there would be no stopping Defoe next season....etc etc Went to school with 2 Spurs fans, who despite being in the absolute minority, believed they were the best, kept quiet when they were losing, then told the whole world how great they were when they beat NUFC. I was ower the moon when we did the double of them this season.

2312: Charlton defender Jonathan Fortune is on the move, he has joined Championship ormotion chasers Stoke on loan until the end of the season.
-
13 games left, i say we need to win at least 7, and no more than 4 losses.
-
Shep n Souey... Baba, Boum, Luque then Carr and to some extent Owen. Imagine if we'd got Bobo Balde too...
-
The thing is, we are basically safe now, so if Martins got injured, we'd be crap for the rest of season, pick up a few points, and finish around 15th. Problem is, if he had signed a couple of decents ones, we'd be really pushing for the Uefa spot... If Martins stays fit, and we get players back, we still have a good chance of a Uefa spot, tho personally i think we'll fall short. Disapointed, but, if it means we have money in summer, then so be it.... but our transfer activity (or lack of it) next summer, is another story.

2243: Bolton have snapped up Portsmouth midfielder David Thompson for a nominal fee.
-
2233: Watford's total number of signings in the trasnfer window is now up to eight after they bought Johan Cavalli from French second division club Istres, Douglas Rinaldi from Brazilian side Veranopolis EC and Cedric Avinel from French side Creteil.
-
9th, get in there! Sounded like we were a bit lucky to hang on, but who cares. A couple of decent signings in the next 2hrs, and we can really push on for europe Disapointing crowd tonight, 49,000

Agree 100%... if its a matter of "til the end of the season" i'd rather have Cole than that French lad who's now gone to Monaco.
