Almost time for people to start filling in the premier league predictors! Their games against Palace, Norwich, West Ham, Cardiff and Swansea remain their chance of survival. The main hope for them being relegated is the fixture pile-up they have created through cup runs and the one postponement.
-
So, who paid money to go and watch this circus act today?
-
2-2 draw, and 48k crowd.
-
will it really 'destroy' them? I would take such an ego to win us every trophy under the sun for the next 20 years before being shite again for a short period.
-
We still have to play Villa, Fulham, Hull, Palace, Stoke and Cardiff. We should be looking to win all of those, but the way we are playing and the fact it seems our club are happy to finish on 37pts means we might help aid the mackems relegation.
-
Think its too late now for them to be 'comfortable' especially with their next 3 games. Potentially their goal difference will take a hammering and they will only have 10 games remaining including Spurs, Chelsea, Everton and dare I say it manure. Everybody knew January was their chance of points, and so it turned out true, but now it gets tougher again. Palace, West Ham and Cardiff at home are their best chance, but would 3 wins even be enough? Having said that, wouldn't surprise me if they fluke a win (like they did at Everton) in 1 of these away games.
-
Man u are shite, but they will still finish ahead of us once again like they have every season since the PL started.
-
That was my prediction, got 1 point more so far, got 24 points in total, their next 3 league games are killers plus they have the FA Cup & LC final in between. Pretty much agree with that, tho Palace at home wont be easy. The likes of Everton and Swansea are the sort of games they will sneak a win however. I think 10pts would keep them up.
-
Todays result is just another sign of what a load of cowards our team are. 3 tough games for the mackems, hope they go at least -7 on GD for them 3... Reality check for them fuckers.
-
I actually couldn't give a fuck now, but I will predict 6-0 to Chelsea.
-
Cancel your direct debit and they cant take it. Can't see why anybody would waste money on a season ticket for a club that openly doesn't want to qualify for Europe or win a cup. And that employs Kinnear.
-
Has to go, but Ashley doesn't give a fuck and it would be Kinnear who comes in. What decent manager wants to come to a club that states it doesn't want to be in Europe and doesn't want to win a trophy?
-
Embarrassing, but nothing will happen regardless of how it finishes. Club is fucked under Ashley and wont improve til he has gone. Cant believe people buy season tickets.
-
Pretty happy with that line up, would have started Shola and Sammy considering the options. Think we will miss Gouffran and Remy big time however. mackems defence should be put under pressure, their line up is mediocre at best, but if they want it more than us...
-
Need HBA to have one of his rare magic days...
-
without a doubt. He could have a lifetime extension for me.
-
Appeal is unlikely to be held before the derby I presume, or we might as well have waited until 4pm tomorrow to lodge it... Or do you have to appeal within a certain number of hours after the sending off?
-
If the appeal hearing isn't tomorrow, then he is free to play
-
Looks like Remy should be available then, excellent. Wonder what Gouffrans chances are of being fit.
-
He better get some goals, or we will be looking to replace him, Remy, Cisse and Shola in the summer. Of course, Shola will stay.
-
I would say they are nailed on to win tonight, and get another injection of confidence ahead of the derby. Some of the comments being made by mackems on facebook are ridiculous like, do they actually look at the league table?
-
Krul; Debuchy, Mbwia, Taylor, Santon; Sissoko, Anita, Tiote, Marveux; Ben Arfa, Remy Hope Gouffran is back for the mackems match (if he isn't sold...)
-
It always amazes me how a club that has won nothing since 1969, has an owner that doesn't want to be in the top 7, constantly sells its best players, doesn't want to win cups, often plays piss-poorly and sees managers changed more seasons than not gets an average of 50,000 fans. Loyal or stupid? (I'm not a season ticket holder you wont be surprised to hear).
-
To be honest he's been poor in the derbies, but it's still a mad move to sell him now. Dunno, the derby that ended 1-1 where he scored early and we played 70 mins with 10 men I thought he was good.
