Haha thats my tactic. Hence me wearing one on Saturday gone despite it being hot as f*** anyway. Howay man Yorkie! Quite simples... Get the train going to the Airport, get off at Regent Centre, when going out of the station to the bus station go left, keep walking that direction for 1 min going past asda and the pitch/school will be to your left Aye, it's literally a 30 second walk from the Metro. Any decent boozer's around their for after..... Gosforth High Street has numerous boozers of varying quality. Never been up Gosforth for a drink before, surprising considering the amount of time I used to go drinking in newcastle if its nice only the brandling has anywhere to sit outside. gosforth hotel and the county are probably the pick on the high street. The Brandling is great these days, used to be s*** and if the weather is nice we can all sit outside. You can sit out the back of The County as well. The Brandling is basically The Forth, very nice. Does nice bait n all. There and The County are probably the best. There is also a Spoons inbetween them both. i haven't been into the brandling for over a year but unless the choice of beers completly changed and it has developed a very eclectic jukebox with a very studenty clintelle then the only thing it has in common with the forth is it sells beer and food. (for all i'm not a regular in the forth anymore i'm still quite protective of the place ) It has the same drinks menu, give or take a couple. And the menu's/websites etc are very similar so I have a hunch they're owned by the same people. I've only known the Brandling Arms for the last 6months and has way more of a trendy vibe than owt else in Gosforth.

Those goals were always once every 10 or 20 games? Scored 1 in 8 for us. -
Aye, loads: Maicon, Dani Alves, Maxwell, Marcelo, Aurelio, Andre Santos, Kleber, Filipe Luis, Fabio, Rafael, Cicinho, Adriano, Bastos. In the past Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Carlos Alberto etc.. Which is true but then again haven't Brazil have always have a history of attacking full backs? They've also had a long history of great ball playing midfielders, which they definitely don't atm. I literally can't think of a genuine central midfielder they have. At the moment I can think of Gilberto Silva, Melo, Ramires, Thiago Motta, Lucas, Josue, Sandro...there's no Socrates, Rivelino, Zico types around. One player to look out for is Paolo Henrique Ganso of Santos.....I think Neymar is a bit overhyped but Ganso looks the real deal....a proper playmaker that Brazil have been lacking in producing in recent years. Aye there was a bit of outrage Dunga didn't select him for the WC2010 squad. He looks a talented individual. With him and Neymar (and all young Brazillians) it'll be interesting to see what happens when they move to Europe.

Likes getting hefty signing on fees?

We have 2 wingers at the club to fill two positions. We need strength in depth.
-
That's why he's being sold for £1m? You couldn't buy Leon Best for that. I mean the whole 'if we're not in for him we should form a suicide pact' nonsense being spouted here. Not the fee. I'm not bothered about missing out on him, just thought he'd be a decent squad player at that price. Indeed, can play either wing, arguably better than Routledge, and would give much needed creativity and more importantly squad depth as we're fucked if Jonas and Routledge are out at the same time and even one is out I'm never overly keen on shunting a CM out there 'to do a job'.

I'm going to be really gay and get me one Might get him on the back of my Metrostars top. Cos I'm oldschool like that.

can't see smith getting a game apart from being down on numbers. Disagree, Hughton's main priority will be not losing as it was for large periods last season before March or so and unfortunately IMO that will include Smith at DM.

Barton over Guthrie any day of the week for me like. Saying that though we don't know if Barton still has the engine he had pre-injuries or whether they'll have taken a toll on his ability to get up and down the pitch. They're both pretty weak (Guthrie more so) but at least Barton can mask this by putting more of a foot in than Guthrie does. We're asking for relegation if both play in CM together like, not that they will unless Smith and Nolan are out.

Its the referee and any specatators I feel sorry for.

Was pretty pish like, at least you weren't the only one. (not that i missed...obviously)

Be good if the ground adopted a siege atmosphere mentality not too dissimilar to Stoke when they first came up. Could help force an extra point or two here and there and the players will need all the help they can get in getting points.
-
Aye we best not have any fun like.
-
We going to have some pens after this? (regardless of score)
-
Don't get cocky, last time we won we were probably underdogs and shocked them. Same applies this time round me thinks. Best way to be.

Despite what I already knew and liked about him myself, upon reading that 'in a nutshell' description, it just makes me realise that our chances of signing him are slim. Yeah, pretty much. From what I saw of him I'd be astonished if we had any sort of chance. Nobody's bid, so by that logic we have just as much a chance as anyone else at this exact moment. Kazeiro I fucking love your avatar. Last year we had Shola eating an apple on a bike, this year with the boxing gloves. I can't wait to see what next season will bring Needless fouls, running in treacle, jumping lower than he stands tall & injuries. The normal stuff I would assume

Can i be your ass man? ()

Peter? Aye. Good addition for the Azzurri. Been the best the player IMO in the two games I've played where he's been on the field. Very happy with the addition, although would still want Stu in the team to run the midfield. Is Peter an out and out forward or does he play elsewhere? I can't remember if he was up top at SJP the whole time. Is Stu still coming along? Could manage the team from the sidelines which would be a boost, rather than someone trying to play and concentrate on subs etc. He played RW and latterly uptop on Saturday. With him in the team I can't see you's not winning tbh. As a striker was what you were what you lacking.

Moderation ain't what it used to be in this place like.
