Yeah, if people want someone to blame who actually deserves it then look no further than Gerrard. He's too thick and far too self-centred to be played on the left as he simply refuses to do it, if I was Capello I'd have torn a strip off him for the way he's performed, whenever he's been asked to play there. Ever time he's dumped the left back right in the shit throughout the game, all of Germany's goals came from the right of their midfield because he simply wasn't where he was supposed to be. He's absolutely not a team-player and therefore should never have been made captain, he's one of the very worst we've ever had. The amount of needless hollywood shots/balls he was trying was disgusting too. Small foreheaded twat that he is.

Brazilians will be going out for a celebratory rob tonight.

How the loudest cheers for the World Cup have been when they announce the attendance, even more so when its rarely full.

Can't remember the match, but I remember the first time I saw him for Bayer Leverkusen. I said to my mate at the end of the game, "That Lucio's fucking terrible". But he had a mad game, honestly. Its not that i don't think he is a good player, there is just something about him, possibly the way he play acts from time to time, that leads me to believe he is a bit of a simpleton.
-
Is it just me or does Lucio have the air of being a bit of a spacka about him?

Chile need to get Mati Fernandez on IMO. Howay Bielsa sort it aaaaaaaaaaaaaht you cant.

My sentiments to a word.
-
Dickhead Webb in charge.
-
Hopefully a sign that Brasil are going to play a bit more attacking than normal then.
-
Is he on the wing? Looking at that team, he could be playing in the Melo position alongside Gilberto Silva. Can't see Ramires functioning very well as a DM. Melo suspended or is Dunga pissed off still with him for his indiscipline against Portugal?

Brazil: 1-Julio Cesar; 2-Maicon, 3-Lucio, 4-Juan, 6-Michel Bastos, 18-Ramires, 8-Gilberto Silva, 13-Dani Alves, 10-Kaka, 11-Robinho, 9-Luis Fabiano. Chile: 1-Claudio Bravo; 4-Mauricio Isla, 5-Pablo Contreras, 2-Ismael Fuentes, 8-Arturo Vidal, 11-Mark Gonzalez, 6-Carlos Carmona, 18-Gonzalo Jara, 9-Humberto Suazo, 15-Jean Beausejour, 7-Alexis Sanchez.

6"2 but that doesn't mean I'm playing the full 90 in goal. I'm a centre half by trade but will be more than happy to fill in elsewhere (except in goal). You're definitely not going in goal mush. Need you organising that backline and for the Sol Campbell esque surges forward.

Pelanty, ref conned.

Stupid dickhead thing didn't register my changes this morning so instead of having Sneijder as my captain I'm stuck with Veron who barely played and I also have Kaka marooned on the bench. Bollocks.

Massive chance, why did he not just place it

Bit random that a Slovak supporter is wearing a Universidad de Chile top in the crowd there.

Out of the current Spain squad, 18 out of 23 players come from the academies of the richest clubs in the land, however (Barça, Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia, Atlético). Only David Villa comes from a small team academy (Gijón). It is true that the academies of these rich clubs have become really good at scouting and snapping up prospects in youth tournaments, however. I agree on the overall point that it's cheaper for Valladolid to field a bunch of local lads than buying Arriaga, Arriaga II and Barriaga. As I said I did no research into whether its actually correct or not, just a general thought i had. Arriaga II could definitely do a job for them though.
-
Might be a moot point as I haven't thought it through but is part of the problem not because our lower positioned Prem teams are still rich as fuck in terms of comparisons to say Valldolid, Bochum or Catania and therefore can still afford to spunk big bucks on foreign imports whereas the smaller foreign teams invest their relatively less money in promoting youth.

Got two of their back 3 out n all. (Ponce and Gary Medel) Medel is arguably thier best defender and Ponce has looked good aswell, they may cause Brazil some problems up front but can't see anything other than a Brazil win here due to thier fragility at the back. May be a lot of goals in this one mind, have left Sanchez in my fantasy football team just in case. Hopefully Chile will score first, force Brazil into some attacking action which Dunga hates so much. Wonder what lovely clobber he'll be sporting today?
