Probably Callum Davenport on his way to SOS. Sunderland Int'l Airport was closed so they had to use a different one. -

At least we have one of the smallest (in height), slowest squads in the league. Good job modern football isn't about pace and power. -
Agreed, the last thing the team needs is the support waning, from now until the end of the season we need to be the 12th man or if Nicky Butt is playing the 11th and 12th man.

playing for us isn't that bad you know.

Sunderland have signed Tal Ben Haim on loan. They've done tremendous. Everything else is rumour. If every rumour came true for other clubs and not us, then I could see your point. Also, Portsmouth have signed a load of crap and taken some gambles. We'll see. so better than us yeah? Hayden Mullins. A Portugese kid who Adams said he might not play because he doesn't know how good he is. Angelos Basinas That Gekas fella Pennant (good player, but an idiot) Sold: Diarra Defoe No, not better than us to be honest. i was speaking about incomings only to be fair, sorry I didn't make that clear. Pennant, Mullins, Gekas, Basinas and possibly Dos Santos represents much better business than Lovenkrands, Nolan and possibly Taylor It's the old quality vs quantity argument. Imagine if we'd signed Hayden Mullins? People would be dead. Prefer him to Butt. -

Am I the only person who would be really disappointed if that happened? Love the excitement of deadine day and that would ruin it. 2 or 3 days wasting time @ work instead of 1. Everyone wins apart from the economy but thats fucked anyway. -
Harper - 7 (good save towards then after Taylors error, unlucky on the goal) Taylor - 6.5 (won a pen, got forward ok, defensively not so good) Coloccini - 6 (wasn't as outbossed as i thought he would be, error for their goal) Bassong - 8.5 (MOM, very good performance espec THAT tackle, Jones wasn't interested after that) Enrique - 8 (best performance i've seen from him in a NUFC shirt) Duff - 4.5 (does nowt, no end product, didn't even track McCartney well in first 45) Nolan - 7 (Solid enough, good to see him talking to the others and constantly in the refs ear) Butt - 6 (average, still needs replacing though) Jonas - 7.5 (would be higher if he could cross, skinning players for fun though) Carroll - 7 (held ball up well, won a few headers) Shola - 5 (didn't do the above, good pen though)

Was the normal shenanigans at the train station after the match n all. Was a nightmare trying to get my train back, Police sealed off the whole station & were generally tossers.
-
Played like a £6m defender yesterday. Still needs to work on his final ball but he and Jonas obv have a good understanding.
-
Looks like Bents going somewhere then... He's outside SJP/at the training ground/having a pint in the strawberry right now... He gets around, i saw him Q-ing outside the Black Garter at 8:59am

Some people need to get a grip like. He should've blatantly been throwing snowballs (if there is snow at the ground) @ David Craig

Who is Daniel Fox? Never heard of him. -
He's just shite, nowt to do with him not wanting to score.
-
Must have the slowest squad in the Prem now. Only Martins/Lovenkrands with any kind of real pace.
-
On that random note, I see your Macc v Brentford and raise you the Doncaster v Norwich match in the Norwich end on Friday night that I'm off to. 1-1 Terrible game. Both teams very shocking. Carl Cort arguably the best player on the pitch in the 2nd half. Pattison came on after the break n all, he was gash as per usual. Decent noise/backing from the Norwich fans = must've been bout 2,000 travelled up - not bad for a Friday night.
-
Nowt the matter with that man.

You'd think we the emphasis we're trying to place on yoof and that we've bid for him previous we'd have been in there. Would've been good to put on the right hand side Jonas - Nolan - Barton/Guthrie - Barnes -
couldn't agree more tbh.
-
Expect him to get injured straight away then.
-
No loyalty bonus when you put in a request though.
-
Would prefer Taylor on the right wing and Jonas on the left rather than Geremi or Duff getting a game. I'd rather have the Chuckle Brothers on the wing than give Geremi and Duff a game At least there'd be more talking on the pitch. "to me, to you!" Butt and Geremi as the Chuckle Brothers,"To them.to them!"
-
Get "Geordie Boy" Martin Taylor to partner Steven in the centre of defence and we will have the dream team. Might as well go for the back five. Maik Ryan Martin Steven Matty

Or Rennes, although Florence is a lot nice for a weekend trip away.
