I saw him about 5 times last season when Sporting played Man Utd, Bolton, Rangers etc in europe and didnt really notice him, Sporting were crap in pretty much every game... I take it you mean Gelson Fernandes......would be happy with that plus Onuhora and Johnson possibly and cash would be nice too. Gelson is apparently interesting Celtic on loan so a loan deal might an option too Would definitely take Gelson. Strong in the tackle, gets up and down the field well. Could be a good signing on loan if available or as part as the Seamus deal

I reckon the ref probably watched the 1st half incident back at half time and realised he should have sent him off and was just waiting for an opportunity to dish out a 2nd yellow. In theory its probably true but he shouldn't do that as a referee, should treat each decision seperately.

Given, Beye, Colo, Shirly Bassy & Jose are good enough for a top 8 team, its very much let down by the soft centre in the middle of the park. A brave and wise man would put Colo in Butt's position, think Colo is weak in the air for a central defender but not for a DMC, in fact he's got the right tools for the job. Even with out of form Taylor back in there at CB with COlo in front of him we'd be a better team defensively. If we get this new RB in i think Colo in Butts role would be a good idea. New Guy - Taylor - Bassong - Jose Coloccini Jonas Barton Zog He can't do any worse than Butt really.

Defensively we are average but whereas other teams get protection from their midfielders ours doesn't aside from Chelsea away and as a result the defence looks shite.
