Given Nobby Taylor, Gooch,Babayaro Dyer Emre(h)/Parker(a) Butt Milner Martins Owen Krul, Edgar, Emre/Paker, Duff or N'Zog - let them armwrestle for it, Ameobi
-
thought they had a fair bit of clowt in the transfer market these days. Be good to get them back up for the derbies but the site of them makes me sick so i'll have them losing the playoff final again this year.

League only though. 12 in total, according to that. thanks for replying to him. In future hoon i suggest you read the entire article properly before being so quick to state a mistake. saves you looking like a complete still a fairly gash record for an £11m signing. To think you could of bought one and a bit Albert Luque's for that.

says 10goals in 59 games tbh on Wiki.

Needs to work on his heading, the boy has head like a 50 pence peice. Ball was flying off at all angles, seemed to be better at attacking the ball in the air with a player challenging than when he was unopposed. Seems ok like...reminds me a bit of J.A. Boumsong though - lets hope he doesnt end up like him,

There are a fair few players there better than we have tbh! You may dislike Ben Haim for his antics but he is a lot better than most of the defenders we have (if not all of them) and the same goes for Distin. With Solano moving to right back and not getting any younger Gera could be a handy player. Viduka is head and shoulders above Sibierski and Shola. I personally think Sidwell would walk into our midfield and Duscher would add some much needed quality in the DM role. Don't know too much about Jarvis but he is verstatile, very highly rated and I doubt he would command wages that would mean its too much of a gamble. But fuck it im sure we have £30m or whatever to get top class players in all the positions we need so lets not bother trying to pick any of this lot up on the cheap. Spot on.

I agree, seems his attitude to his career (i.e. happy just have one) seems to have moved into his game
-
likelihood is though, if we have a few decent grounds now, we won't need to waste so much money to build rest upto spec. Other bidders likely to be Holland/Belgium, Mexico and the Aussies. Us v Oz i reckon. Be horrendous if it were in Oz like. Matches going on at 4 in the morning.
-
Is he or is he not better than Ramage,Hunty,Moore,Bramble,Carr and Babayaro ??
-
Distin Ben Haim Sidwell Gera Duscher Jarvis Viduka All players worth a look IMO, we won't get a single one though

Anyone see the 'Justice for the 96' flag doing the rounds n all? Is that really necessary at Newcastle - L'pool match in Jan 2007. Fair enough ppl snuffed and condolensces to them it but surely that was in the past.

No need for a British World Cup when England is more than capable of holding it by itself. FIFA rules dictate that only one city can have two host stadia, and no other city can have more than one. London - Wembley + Emirates Newcastle - SJP Sunderland - SOS Middlesborugh - Riverside Sheffield - Hillsborough Manchester - Old Trafford/City of Manch. Liverpool - New Anfield/old Anfield Birmingham - Villa Park Derby - Pride Park Leicester - Walkers MK - New stadium (dunno name) Southampton - St Marys Coventry - Ricoh Ipswich - Portman Rd. Most these grounds can be easily extended n all as they are 'new' grounds. If needed could use Twickers n all.

hehe - pretty good! that is pretty pathetic by henry though.... but he is still a great player, and generally not a cheat try telling Spain fans that after he shenanigans at the World Cup. Good player but a massive prick.

from the NY area? I've got a Metrostars shirt (hangs head in shame)
-
I'd be happy for all of our players to be banned from playing from their national teams. Although the Nigerian FA seems shit at best TBH. Makes our FA look good.
-
wouldn't be so bad if they didnt have a piss easy draw in the next round either (Braga or Parma)
-
Always reluctant to back Cardiff - have cost me a fair few quid this season altho Cov are gash.

1. At the start of the season what where your expectations, and are things going as you expected? Challenging for a UEFA Cup place and we are kind of doing so i guess. Obviously no-one expected us to have so many injuries but then no-one probably would've expected us to be Martins and Sib aside mediocre in the transfer market so we could replace said injured players. We knew Shearer, Ameobi and Owen would not be available way before the season, a bit of forward planning wouldnt have gone a miss. 2. Who's been your best performer this season? James Milner - 100% every game without fail. Works jus as hard going back as forward and has really benefitted from a run of games in the first team, this is extenuated further when you think we tried to offload him on Aug 31. Other stars have been Given and Martins. He has also made more appearances than any other player. Nicky Butt too has come back to form from the wilderness this season, this started in pre-season and hasn't let up. Says a lot that many fans would have him first choice in central midfield, he gives us much needed balance in this area. Overall Jimmy Milner tho. 3. And your worst/most disappointing? Steve Carr and Celestine Babayaro - gash and mercenary respectively Damien Duff has been nothing short of diabolic since he moved here. He looks a poor imitation of the player we saw at Blackburn and Chelsea and for Ireland. 4. You had a quiet January transfer window, if you where the manager, who would you have tried to sign? A lot more than Roeder did! Altho it is hard to buy in January. We are crying out for a solid pair of full backs and a probably an experienced centre half (We should've got Sol in Aug - why we didn't is beggars belief). Fullbacks - Wayne Bridge altho that would seem unlikely now, Paul Konchesky, Justin Hoyte. We also need a centre forward who is not a dwarf perhaps Dave Nugent would fit the bill or Dean Ashton or John Carew. 5. What are your best and worst memories of our previous meetings? best - stevie watson scoring a screamer in the league cup for us to win 1-0 in 94(i think!) worst - Michael Owen rubbing his hands like a twat in our 4-1 drubbing at SJP On a general note for an advert for football the two 4-3 games, in particular the first one. 6. Do you have any favourite/best chants (and perhaps any that require an explanation)? No, our songs currently are mediocre. Blaydon Races will always be a favourite of mine and doesnt get enough airings as it should 7. What’s the banter like between Newcastle and Liverpool fans at St James, would you say that the 2 sets of fans get on? Liverpool fans (i know) like most who support big teams seem to think they're better/more knowledgable than Newcastle/clubs that win fuck all due to the fact we win fuck all - this annoys me intensely. Apart from that though, yeah mediocre. 8. In the summer, Liverpool and Newcastle are told to swap 3 first team regulars, who would you send to Liverpool, and who would you like from us? Out - Baba,Carr,Damage can leave In - Gerrard (he is a tit but a fucking good player, not that he'll be leaving if you believe those rumours about his personal life),Kuyt(shouldve bought him in the summer),Agger(impressed me everytime i've seen him and can only get better) 9. Liverpool have become the lastest club to gain new owners, Newcastle have been mentioned as well as a likely candiate for a takeover. How do you feel about these take-overs by foreign owners, and would you like to see it happen at Newcastle? Fat Fred is at the heart of what is wrong with our club and with his at the helm we will never achieve more than mediocrity. Although im sceptical about foreign owership, id prefer to see English/British owners but im sure at the moment Villa, Chelsea and even Man U fans arent bothered about the ownership. 10. Care to predict Mr Roeder’s starting line up for the game? Harper Solano Gooch Bramble Taylor Milner Parker Butt Duff Dyer Martins 11. And finally, let’s have your score predictions for the game 0 - 1 (a goal from a cross)

gash team, how SWP gets in when he often (Chelsea at full strength) fails to even make the bench yet alone the first team. Is there some sort of contractual obligation that when you're the England manager you must give Phil Neville caps. He will have 55 caps after this, here a short selection of players he has more caps than: Stanley Matthews Trevor Francis Geoff Hurst Jack Charlton Steve Coppell Trevor Brooking Roger Hunt Nat Lofthouse Stan Mortenson Jackie Milburn Dixie Dean He is soon to overtake: Haynes,Gazza,Greaves,Beardsley
