All four would improve the mackems first team no end and plus another striker will probably see them safe next season i reckon.
-
I'd take them 4 Spurs players like
-
Mackems and Boro havin the same away kit.

him and his agent want to keep their gobs shut if he wants move. Doing themselves no favours.

Good player but doesn't fit in with transfer policy.

Was wondering the same, surely he'd go straight into the role Owen took in the 4-3-3? Meaning Owen back up top (with Martins?) which concerns me. Or perhaps there's some mileage in the Martins to Arsenal stories and there's more of a targetman coming in. Was wondering the same, surely he'd go straight into the role Owen took in the 4-3-3? Meaning Owen back up top (with Martins?) which concerns me. Exactly, although Owen and Martins are very good players, both work best with the target man alongside them and Owen has shown himself to be a lot more use in the 'hole' than he has upfront of recent. I'll be fuming if we get rid of Martins.

Decent acquisition at that price if true (which i very much doubt) - young, european/international experience, can cover several roles. Looked decent enough at Euro's although his passing ain't the best so he'll fit in here well.

hmmm.... I find it hard to dislike Gallacher, he wasn't brought in to be in the starting XI week in, week out and actually showed a bit of passion (his first goal at home to Sheff Utd in the cup). Also really canny when he put his name in my autograph book. He was a headless chicken, no obvious qualities but was let off because he put a decent shift in. Was a signing that showed how far backwards we'd gone in a couple of years.
-
Although there is no doubt he has talent I don't really see where Aimar is likely to fit in, Keegan isn't going to drop Owen for him and he doesn't play wide and is too lightweight for a midfield slot in 4-4-2 or in the Barton/Geremi role.
-
Thought Goma was canny. Also from earlier posts I thought John Barnes did okay for us - Rush was a fucking disgrace though. Barnes did alreet considering he played upfront with Tomasson a lot of the time. Scored a few important goals.
-
Robbie Elliott (second time round) - worst player in the Prem at that time, disgustingly bad Kevin Gallacher Shaka - mainly due to that Blackburn game

i swear i saw ali dia's name on the metro fare dodger name and shame posters a couple of years ago, i think it said he lived in fawdon / fenham. He played for Gateshead after So'ton so it is possible.
-
Ah wank, what a fucking carry on they're going to be to get to.

To be fair mate, apparently he was major factor in their survival last season and the Liverpool fans sound like they rate him quite highley. There are always those who will put a downer on things. Dread to think what DvD matheiS will have watched. By the sound of his game and having watched him play he isn't really a Bolton style player, seems to prefer to get it down on the floor not the hit and hope.

Mainly footage of Anthony Le Tallec so I've heard.
-
meh but at least he is young and if nowt else its another body in the squad. Replacement for Joey Barton?
-
really shows how gash the SPL is.
-
That not Terry Mac's job.

Portsmouth love their African's like, can see them sign a boat load to send off to Belgium.

There was article on the back page tonight with quotes from Taylor the article was written by Lee Ryder & no Olly. Edgar was quoted in the paper. Alan Oliver has been on holiday for about 10 days now. Cheers. Any chance you can tell us what he's wearing? A Burkha hopefully for the locals of wherever he is.

Auxerre defender Gabriel Tamas is keen on a £3.5m switch to Celtic after being transfer-listed by his French side. (Daily Record) - could be worth a punt, he look good during the Euro's although Auxerre weren't too good last season IIRC.
-
aye lace up collars are surely due a come-back.

Fully agree, neither good enough defensively nor offensively to be classed as a good midfielder IMO. If we spent more than £3m on him I'd be disappointed and he appears to be too money motivated in my eyes.
