Exactly what I was thinking, why would you want to play for someone who has blatantly berated you publicly at every opportunity? It's a double edged sword, play and possibly save the guy who's wrecking your team and more pertinently your own career or don't play and prove everything he's said about your attitude right. I think it would play into Pardew's hands, you know what they're like. Would be spun forevermore.

Just watched his post match Stoke interview. Doesn't really come across as being bothered in the slightest. Have quite often seen the pressure cracking him but showing no signs of that this time. Don't think he really gives a shit because he actually thinks we are doing alright.
