  1. If you had a set place where you could I would, if you had to pile into the ground at 1-1:30pm I'd just sit near the terraces. Aye good point that, any idea how they do it in Deutschland?
  2. Yes that's a fair comment. Agree with this. We played a bit of a mixed style under Hughton, there's no way it was all hoof balls and knock downs though - at our best we played some really entertaining football, some of it direct and some of it on the deck. You could say the same for Bobby Robson's teams, not that I'm saying that Hughton's wasn't more direct. You could argue we've played better football this season in terms of keeping it on the deck (if you think that's all that there is to it - I don't) but back then we had less technically adept players but wouldn't often sit on a lead, and were generally involved in more entertaining games. Yep spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed it and made great use out of the players he had at his disposal. We also played as a team much better then too.
  3. Ronaldo, the king of comedy.
  4. What's happened to Rat at West Ham? Looks like his career has gone down the drain....
  5. Everyone knew it was going to be an extremely tough season to begin with, their recruitment dictated that. To not finish in the top four would be poor but they have progressed in the champions league too, something everybody expected Moyes to struggle with initially. He needs time and they need new players. He should ditch Cleverley though asap, what a shit player. They need another Roy Keane in there to sort them out.
  6. Oooft, brilliant movement and header.
  7. That's because you live in the Pardew thread.
  8. He reminds me of Duff. All huff and puff and no end product. He was always on the verge of being a quality player but lacked the extra 10%. As you say it is his end product mainly and I think his attitude isn't the best too. becoming part of N-O's vernacular. Very true.

  10. The way you keep trying to bring Hughton into it is pathetic Brett, he achieved everything he could with us. Had us playing good football too and managed all that without being a cunt in the slightest. Give it up.
  11. He really, really fucked up during the summer. Was essential to strengthen heavily and didn't, left yous and Moyes in a shite starting position. Good laugh for the rest of us though.
  12. Samaras is gash. Good hair though.
  13. That's because Brett is creating all the statements.
  14. I remember when we were playing hoofball week in week out and it was apparently not Pardew's fault but down to the players.
  15. We picked up the likes of Sissoko and Gouffran on the cheap because of contract situations I thought? Sissoko is clearly a £10m++ player.
  16. “For the last three years I don’t know, it’s science against me. “As a group we were up for the game. “The first half was difficult because there wasn’t 50,000 in here to assess, I thought we played quite well. Blames 'science' then blames a low crowd for the first half? Is the excuses thread still about?!
  17. Aye. Yes they did and disgracefully in my john humble Obertan got booed on. We were a disgrace after we scored today and I am sure we were time wasting in injury time despite being 2-1 down. Players need to take a long hard look at themselves. 40+ players managed by Pardew as pointed out by Interpolic.
  18. Cardiff kept the ball well which limited us especially first half. Ben Arfa played in the number 10 role and was in and out, but we created very little except Ben Arfa hitting the post after a decent run. Anita & Tiote were outnumbered really and neither have the ability to create really. Cardiff had a number of shots from range and had a header disallowed from a corner. Second half we had more tempo and our goal came from a great run in behind by Sissoko, which Cisse picked up the scraps from. Then Obertan came on and that seemed to be the signal for us to slacken off and for the ref to become a turbocunt. They hit the post and missed a headed chance then the goal came from us surrendering possession down the left and Noone scoring a good goal. That should have kicked us into gear but other than a half chance for Cisse Cardiff were in charge of the game, and we didn't bother to defend a corner so Campbell scored. About 5 minutes later Remy and Shola got on which gave them next to no time to do anything. Ben Arfa got booked for diving which I'd need to see back, I think he slipped but there you go. We didn't come close to equalising. Thanks.
  19. One of the most annoying things about Pardew for me is that he stumbles across the best way of setting the players up and then doesn't even realise it or chooses to go against it because he's so scared of doing something he's obviously not used to.
