  5. It's proper ming like.
  6. That looks like a cross between Bez and Peasepud.
  7. Zoggy's played his best football at left-back this season in case anyone is interest in that.
  8. Didnt know Beye was a doctor?Butt and Bartons are mcs?Didnt know that either! Thanks for the interesting facts!
  9. Gordon Taylor btw. Since no-one wanted to play It was quite clearly implied in the question I thought.
  10. I'd say yes he was a great player, but he's overrated by a lot of more modern fans, which is not a surprise really as obviously he's someone they grew up watching. Platini was better than Zidane though.
  11. Harewood scored man. There is hope.
  12. http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/136/42238196mcgrath203pe0.jpg Say Ooooooh Ah Paul McGrath!
  13. You only like him as he drinks nearly as much as you.
  14. I wish we'd pass balls to his feet to see if he truly is that important. Lobbing high balls in to him isn't fare, I'll admit. Give him the proper service and if he's lost his scoring touch, he will be public enemy #1. he's got about 8 goals in all this season for us and england so he's doing ok. i agree about the poor service, of course. Has he?
  15. You could form a pact with the other administrators, that by only they can moderate threads with Shearer and his management, there for you don't have to go anywhere near them you big flounce.
  16. There's a difference of being capable and actually doing so on a regular basis.
  17. The scousers must have known something we didn't when they were singing "sacked in the morning"
  18. Since Shearer's decline, especially over his last two seasons, as well as Larry Roberts getting shipped out. We really have missed that extra special something, by which I mean long range shooting. Whenever you felt Shearer and Robert had the ball within 30 yards of goal, you always felt we had a chance of something happening, if they hit it, there was a fair chance it would either go in, or at least be on target. It's just something I feel that we have lacked over the past few seasons, that element of surprise and excitement when we have players with the ability to do this. Or even if the ball doesn't actually go in, there's obviously the factor that it brings rebounds etc blueyes.gif
