Thauvin was also not given a decent run in the side. I'm sorry, but while it's easy and lazy to take the 'they're all dogshite' route, we need to split the blame across the board, and the management has to take a share of it as well.
  2. So many more grey hairs, looking at him made me realize how old I am. And to examine my own descent into middle-age and potbelly.

MYM would've flourished here and actually was finally getting used to the league, and playing well, before he was unceremoniously dropped and then hounded out as a 'freak.' Anita also has had a few good games for us. I agree with the Cabella bit. What the common thread here, after mediocre scouting from Carr, seems to be is absolutely horrendous management. Why have a dinosaur from the 90s managing continental players if our entire raison-d'etre is to shop continental? We're sick of constantly repeating this glaring contradiction which results in total fucking chaos.

I'm in the same boat. If he manages to keep us up this year, I have zero confidence that we won't be in the same position the following year. He's just a below average Prem manager and we will keep flirting, grinding with the relegation zone until we get someone with a bit of balls and ambition.

I fucking love this kid. At least one of his crosses deserved a goal and he worked tirelessly. I hope we try him at LW at some point when our plethora of LB options become available.
  6. Wasn't particularly impressed either, but can see him developing into a useful player if he keeps working hard as he did today. We forget he's another who's oh so young and given time he can build something good at this club. For me it's his final ball and decision making that was suspect but he also seems to try and try which can only be good in the long run.

simply doesn't have it in him to rouse the rabble Has the charisma of a stone A Steve Stone.

  9. Agreed. Was baffled as to why he had Perez up on his own when we've just signed players like Townsend, and will no doubt be looking to get crosses in from out wide. Mitro should have started in my opinion, or at least give Doumbia a try. One of the frustrating things about this club in the last 10 years is that we've backed the wrong managers with so much money and time. Had Hughton or Keegan have been given 50 million in one window we'd probably have been much better off. Either of those two in the dugout now and we'd be a solid top ten or mid-table side by now. With HBA tearing everyone a new one.
  10. I think someone should compare him to The Invisible Man. The character from the book.

Is he simply capable of winning at home, going by the atrocious away record someone posted on here that runs through the entirety of his career?
  12. Agreed. We don't create anything without Mitrovic, but when he plays he wastes everything we create. Well others have to step up. The thing is most of the goals others have scored have come from his good play initially, so he has to play. Without him we don't even manage to get up the pitch. The solution has been simple, him up top and Perez either behind or to the left. It's worked before. But we seem to have completely forgotten this and keep tinkering. Not we, but McClaren. That "solution" worked about once in 15 games Aside from signing a genuine striker, what other method do we have? Better once in 15 than hoofing to a lone Ayoze or Mitro

  14. Your username is a giveaway at your pathetic attempts at trolling. Ken M won't be losing sleep anytime soon.
  15. He's a winger playing left back man It's a KaKa post man.[emoji38]Pathetic means that he's been slightly underpar in difficult circumstances on the KaKa scale.
  16. A team of these players does not belong in 18th place. It is completely McClarens fault ffs. I think he's saying to blame the man who hired him, for hiring people like him.
  17. Are people still persisting with this? This is like fucking Stockholm Syndrome. "He'll come good, I promise, he's a good lad. My black eye doesn't even really show."
  18. What's Cathro and Black brought to this team, now that the season's coming to a close?
