I don't know how he can keep a straight face talking about professionalism, the hypocritical arrogant useless bastard. I was just about to post this, When was the last time HBA headbutted a player, pushed a linesman or called another manager an old cunt?

It's amazing what this club means to fans, even those far and wide like me, the Keegan-era bandwagon jumpers who've hung on even as the bandwagon has gone through entire warzones and we've had our fingers sat on by Ashley, Shepherd, etc. Definitely some kind of character or mental flaw that makes someone like me spend all this dosh to come see this lot and feel giddy like a child with excitement even while I'm backing all the fan protests and completely agree with fans not attending games anymore. And I'm bringing my mates with me, so that's a lot of money into Ashley's pocket.

The issue is that we were ahead of them comfortably during SBR's years, but it's the resulting clusterfuck of decisions that's put such a distance between them and us, Moyes and their owners just kept the ship steady, and made wise decisions. Our owners did neither of those things.

That's actually not too bad either. Cheers. I think the plat club is further along to the left mind but it gives you an idea. I wouldn't fancy paying those prices but its ayour first game etc. Yeah, as bad as it sounds, I'm not too bothered about the price right now as the excitement is akin to a pilgrim making his first journey to Mecca... I'm going to assassinate the King, after all. You'll get a better shot at him if you're in the Gallowgate. I've been misquoted. Although the sentiment is true. I just hope I'm sat next to Ben Arfa. And please, please have a jolly good protest planned for when I'm there, I would relish a few anti-establishment chants.

Maybe she doesn't exist, or she's buried under his patio, or he is the wife? I love the conspiracy theories that follow a forum member's departure. The theories on Wearside are legendary (CIA mole, etc.).

Ah interesting. So one of the ends is best way to go, then? I'll keep looking for four in a row (insert Pardew joke here) in either Leazes or Gallowgate. Otherwise it might just have to be Platinum. Also, this being my first time in Newcastle, any recommendations on a spot to hit up pre-game for a drink? Is there a place any of the forum members mingle in? Would love to grab a drink and put faces to some of the usernames I've become familiar with. We'll be in the city for another day before heading to Edinburgh, so would love any recommendations on what we should do, see, etc.

Thanks. Doesn't look like there are 4 tix in a row left from the looks of it in the middle of the Gallowgate online. I'm in Canada and won't be in Newcastle until the day of the game itself, so my best bet is probably online. I'm getting 4 in a row in something called the Platinum Club and Bar 1892 in the Milburn stand. Better, worse? Recommend? How much you paying for that? 61 quid per ticket for "Milburn Stand - Platinum Club - L2D Seat Plan" and 56 quid for "Milburn Stand - Bar 1892 - LL2G Seat Plan." I don't even know what these 'plans' refer to.

Trying to find 4 tickets in a row in that section right now off the club's website. Any reason for that section? Also, any tips for a first timer would be great I'm guessing buying the tix off the club's site's the easiest way to go about things?
-
So you suggest one of the ends, not something with a lateral view of the pitch?

Hello lads & lasses, Time has finally come for me to attend my first toon game. Yes, after all these decades of being an armchair, pub-seat Newcastle supporter, I can finally afford to go to an actual live game. I'm currently looking at the Man City home opener. There seem to be a few seats remaining, but what would you suggest in terms of section for a first timer? I'm guessing some place with a more central view of things? Which stand / seats would you suggest? Thanks in advance

How hot. Cheers.

Now I'm really curious about his wife. Can someone summarize this whole affair for me?
-
The HBA and Pardew threads will be lacking rationality even more now, he's left a vacuum to be filled by the neanderthals who support the latter and vilify the former. Come back, bimpy!
-
Oh, the PM bit was made up, alright, lol. I liked bimpy a lot, in the stalker-ish manner one admires a poster who posts more than you and whose views you share, who often becomes a mouthpiece for your own views, as you're too lazy to express them half the time. Big loss to the forum.
-
What kind of mild conversation involves calling someone's wife a lard-arse?
-
So wait, Bimpy and POOT are the same person? Really confused here up in Canada.
-
The fact that Obertan is still starting games in place of HBA is so tragic one can only laugh in wonder. I'd rather have an obese, lumpy, mouth-breathing, curry-stained Benny starting for us than Obertan at the peak of his "powers." Fucking Alan Pardew man. Fucking piece of shite.
-
Ant decent performances from our lot? Ayoze looks good, goal was only real moment of quality in the game. Riviere wasnt given much to work with. Obertans pace could have been used more, two long throws from elliot & he was breaking away. The best interplay came on his side tbh the rest just look like individuals as you'd expect. Er... how long have you followed football for?
-
Were you born a troll or do you become one a miserable day after another?
-
This makes no sense at all, from any angle. So we shouldn't have signed him or got excited? Forget about how highly he's been rated since he was a child, and almost every fucker in France seems to know about him and have an opinion on him? Right.
-
They'll do with it what they do every year. Absolutely nothing. I doubt many people even realize that Cabaye and Debuchy have entirely funded these signings and we haven't spent anything yet again. Yet people come out with "these kinds of comments are getting tiresome now" kind of comments. Erm, so we're not allowed to mention the state of the club anymore? And talk about the present based on very recent historical evidence? Ashley has removed all instincts of protest even, it seems.
