  1. Who is that behind them wistfully looking away, reminding me of myself on a football ground as all the talented kids engage in banter and I stand by the side, pretending I'm deep in my thoughts but actually feeling fat.
  2. So how come people on here, myself included, hate him and think he's a shit manager? I think the way he got the job and the way we were warned about him beforehand, has played a huge part in my disgust for him. He was never employed because of his managerial capabilities. That coupled with his negative, cowardly approach, his constant bullshit in favour of Ashley and especially last season has turned me towards the point of almost no return. I've long said to myself that my confidence in him is there for the taking if we just pick up. I don't think I'll ever like him, but I could live with him being our manager if we progressed. However, we're not. The fact that he's on board with our ambitionless excuse of an agenda kills it for me.
  3. "you'll love it here, one of the most comfortable benches i've ever sat on. fantastic view of people of inferior capability doing your job instead of you." Brilliant.
  4. Yet some on here would have you believe he's not made a penny off us.
  5. Not so crystal clear when we have a spineless coward for manager. How can you be afraid to use your most potent attacking force? Fucking stick 3 DMs behind him man, and let him do his thing. We are never going to attack a team gung-ho with this fraud in charge. I miss the days of us trying to nail the coffin into a team by half time, and using the second half not to sleep but to score even more goals. That's confidence, intent. That gets you places in this league.
  6. If you actually watch Coutinho play and how many times he messes up going forward, and how useless he is at the defensive side of the game, he'd join HBA on the bench at our club under Pardew and we'll continue our search for another no. 10 with 2 perfect ones rotting on our fucking bench.
  7. Not in Pardews opinion unfortunately. My Dad watched the game with me and he was saying to me "how the hell is a player that talented just sat on your bench till the last 10 minutes" He doesn't know my pain And it seems like Pardew's deluded opinion on HBA is working as many fans are seemingly okay with the most talented attacking player we have rotting on the bench.
  8. It's about intent. He's not interested in the ball. That's why I said "arguably." If you look at the replays, as soon as he comes close to Nasri, he starts hacking. Specifically trying to stop or take him down. No way was it as bad as many of the two-footed horror shows we've seen recently, as the result wasn't too bad at all. I'm actually surprised Nasri's even out for that long, as he did make the most of it.
  9. Off the pitch that's arguably assault.
  10. Good for him, he can end his career there, if and when the move becomes permanent. I worry that they won't buy him though, or Ashley / Joe will not allow it to happen if they don't offer us a silly valuation. Really should not be an issue of him going there permanently though, he's done here. A great servant and one of the heroes who brought us back up. Gonna go down as a demi-legend.
  11. Our main attacking threat was given 10 mins to prove his worth.

Thank you for being one of the few who sees this situation for what it is. The amount of leeway Pardew faves like Shola, Remy and others in the past have received from him for doing fuck all (I'd put Cisse in there as well), HBA has been mistreated to the heavens in comparison. Give the guy some fucking confidence by giving him a run in the starting eleven so he doesn't have to feel he has to take on the whole world for the 30, 20, now 10 minutes he has on the pitch. Almost all our players, including crapheads like Williamson, have improved massively by having an extended run in the first team. For some reason, HBA isn't given this leeway, or an opportunity to grow. Still our most talented player by a fucking mile and it's a crying shame Pardew is killing his career and potential.
  13. The difference between a player like Cabaye committing long term future for us is basically some outward ambition. FFS just having a go at the cup + opening up the transfer kitty a bit more + the manager/owner in the press saying "WE WANT to challenge for the top because we are top club..." And people's heads turn, and they begin to believe. its a very basic and simple principle. Our massive support, our massive stadium, our ability to unearth and sway these "contract" player issues to collect an excellent crop of undervalued talent (when purchased) and a player like Yohan Cabaye who is a consummate professional, one of the main men of his national side, and he'll be here for another 4-5 years. Its a joke man, all of the potential in the world to be a top side but the owner is a fucking tight prick. Makes me sick.
  14. So lemme get this straight, we should be thankful for Pardew because we're only gonna get someone worse in? Is each passing moment a new lowering of standards around these parts? Fuck that shit. I'll never fucking miss Pardew. Unless we get someone worse in.
  15. Wouldn't lump Hughton in that list, but aside from that, spot-on list. Hughty brought us up and was put in that position. Always a legend in my eyes.

Erm, he doesn't track back, doesn't defend, why would Pardew be interested? Warm the bench with HBA? I can see Cabella going the same way. Criminal we're not in this bidding though, regardless.
  17. Has he made any money yet? From all us numpties that went to the FA Cup game So no then Where is that graphic that shows the SD stock price since he took control of NUFC? I believe so, yes. Quite a bit. Yeah every single penny is a direct result of us and nothing else Well if you only choose to speak in hyperbole. Sure.

Bang on. As all my past girlfriends have said, "the difference between success and failure is a matter of inches."

    Remy Cabella

If he's an actual attacking midfielder I'm worried, he'll soon join HBA on the bench for not tracking back enough or protecting our fullbacks.

Killing his literary dreams here, guys. At least provide an actual critique. Tough crowd.

How long did that take you? Do you realise you'll never get that time back? Haterz gon' hate. Can you please post the previous 873 chapters please? Is there a Fifty Shades of Grey homage in there somewhere?

Where exactly is the creativity going to come from if we sell him or just keep him on the bench? We'd have not hit the woodwork or scared any defences the last few games if we'd not played him at all. People are fucking retarded. And don't gimme that "Sissoko set up two goals lyk, marra!" BS, if HBA's consistency in attacks is doubted, Sissoko or Gouff aren't exactly Mara-fucking-donnas.
