  1. O M F G. Thank you, logic and reason, for finally befalling upon Pards.
  2. It's obvious he's one of those "old fashioned" (aka sh1te) English managers who think "a good stropping huge lad up front" is better than one who can pass the ball on the deck or can dribble or actually run. Losing faith. Fast.
  3. Who's warming up on the touchline, for those watching the game? And please, one more person posts "Aguero.... no, Albrighton... Jesus 20,000th goal" I'm gonna shoot myself. Please spare us.
  4. Brommers looked like a good team when I watched them a couple of times the past few weeks, and I was wondering how we'd be able to cope with their passing ability. Turns out, like crap.
  5. HBA walking out in January? Or throwing a strop in the summer? I'd say more than just him doing so if these kinds of substitutions and team sheets continue.

His excuse of bringing on the two ameobis is pathetic and highlights where he lacks tactically: expecting Sammy to put a cross in so Shola can rise above a center half to head home. Traditional, anyone? Hardly modern footie. And the funniest thing is, we were trying that all fucking game!

You'd think he'd have learned his lesson after the whole Tevez debacle. SBR stressed time and time again that one of the jobs of the managers is to bring the best out of troubled footballers. It's no surprise that the best managers in the world manage to do this, while the ones who fall by the wayside are guilty of having no idea how to deal with prodigious talent. Reminds me of Souness and his Robert excuses.

This is becoming an issue now. I can see HBA throwing a strop and asking for a move if this continues, and soon. Pardew simply doesn't know how to deal with him or use him in the team. Obertan and Sammy ahead of him? Come-fucking-on. Those saying "he isn't a winger mate," what the fuck has Obertan done to justify a place on the right? He can track back all he wants, he's still fucking shite.
  9. Is this a joke? How can we not keep a hold of Danny effing Simpson? Either he's got a seriously delusional estimation of himself, or this is what we're gonna be expecting from all our other better players too. Interesting development. Sad, really. He can p1ss off if it's the former, as he won't do better than here. He's not even great!
  10. He's got potential, and I think we'd be cautious not to write off foreign fullbacks as Enrique took his time to get into the swing of things here, too.
  11. Headless fucking chicken. So, so frustrating to watch.

    Dan Gosling

Hate to say 'I told you so' but fuck, he doesn't help himself, does he? I was hoping he shone today, as it was his chance to. So far he has just coasted on his 'reputation' from Everton, hasn't actually delivered anything yet. We'll keep waiting, I suppose, not like we have any choice (or a deep squad).
  13. I totally agree. Have never been impressed by him even when he was at Everton. played like an idiot in the first half. managed to top that in the second by playing like a dick. Poor Cabaye. I remember people at my throats when I laid into Gosling the last time he had a shit game. I really expect to see more from him, but alas, haven't seen anything thus far to change my opinion on him. I, once again iterate, hope he proves me (and a whole load of us) wrong.

    Sunderland...

Was watching some footie show they air here in Canada and they were interviewing some Sundermongs who kept harping on about "Guus Hiddink." Ian Dowie and some dude next to him were creasin' themselves in the studio. "You've gotto be realistic as a Sunderland fan. Guus Hiddink?"
  15. Shocking to wake up to Saturday morning, and for a moment I wasn't sure if it was still a part of my sleep-induced daze or reality. It's just that he was so young and you never expect former players (who played for your team do recently) to pass away so soon. I haven't had a chance to read much about the issue, but any insight provided into why he may have done it? I'll never forget the Solano-Speed combination at corners, where the former would whip'em in and Speed-o would rise above the rest and thump those in with his head. Absolute legend.
  16. BEEF. Anyways, that's a pretty decent strikeforce, I believe. We know they have goals in them as long as there's decent service to their heads and feet.

    Classy

The condoning of the "facts" spouted by this fucktart on these boards is possibly more infuriating than anything this asshole did. It just goes to show why cretinous politicians and public figures retain their powers year after year because it seems if you lie long enough, if you throw enough shit against the wall, some of it is undoubtedly going to stick. Let's break these "facts" down: 1) Keegan. To quote the post in here that started it all, "correct." In what fucking delusional, bizarro-world is his assessment of the situation with Keegan in any way "correct?" DL said "his fucking head was all over the place." Eh? Appointed to appease Arabs? WTF ? Ashley and Co. were found guilty in a court of law by a Judge who made sure to include in the tribunal that they also constantly lied about Keegan's tenure here, and did everything they could to tarnish his reputation. Yet, people are still actually believing a word this fucking neanderthal says. Unbelievable, and a point enough to get one seething on its own. 2) Shearer. Also to quote the poster before, "correct." How on earth was only Shearer responsible for our relegation? How can you pass judgment on his ability to manage a football team EVER? DL and some of the posters on here are so fucking deluded, blindfolded and downright pathetic, that they not only pretend to be future-telling sages on how a human being will pan out as a manager in the future, but actually believe giving someone 8 games to stave of relegation is enough to banish them as human beings to the dustbin "foreva innit, mate." We, as both a team and a club, were absolutely fucked long before Shearer was brought in that season. Not a single fan who has anything but a half-decent memory can argue with that. It was disaster after disaster brought on by Ashley, it was nothing but a sinking ship on which these fuckheads chose to find a lamb to take the blame -- in the form of a former club hero -- and amazingly, it worked! You fuckheads who're blaming only Shearer for our relegation are probably the same wankers who would purchase a bottle of snakeoil and then go and vote for George Bush in the same afternoon. Get your fucking heads checked. Shit. Sticks. To. Walls. 3) Chris Hughton. They're practically gloating about sacking a nice guy. "I don't want a manager under me who can't argue." He needs a cunt like him underneath to deal with his own flapping cunt lips. CH may not have been the right person to "lead us forward," wherever that may be -- I don't credit them 100% for our recent upturn in fortune -- the way they treated him was downright pathetic, embarrassing for the club, and a horrible way to treat a genuinely nice guy and a pretty decent manager and coach. They rattled the ship then once again when things were finally looking stable, and have done so once again this week with the renaming and now this. 4) Andy Carroll. Okay fine, you wankers can have that one, $35M was definitely overpaying for him. Still they lied about the whole "Andy handed in a transfer request, we had no choice, blah blah" and this recent bollocks only pushes that story aside. Absolutely pissed, to be honest, by how easy it is for people to downright lie to the public and how many in the public are willing to be covered in the urine deemed holy water. His final quote is the nail in the coffin, no matter what you believe the facts to be: "You have no idea how fucking horrible we can be." Whether we all agree or not on what has gone on regarding the aforementioned points, that quote alone needs to see him sacked, and sacked soon. That's unforgivable, filled with nothing but venom, and the wanton flaunting of power that only comes from those who think they're untouchable.

    Alan Pardew

Eh? When did we ever have the feeling of "Champions League" and "winning cups" under him? Even when he took over, our main aim was to be stable, but he made sure that wasn't to be.

Is the era of renaming stadia, stands, etc., after past players or managers well and truly over? No more Guiseppe Meazzas, or Bernabeus? Now the future generations have Doritos Bowl and Dairy Queen House to look forward to?

    Alan Pardew

I doubt any of the new recruits would be bothered. I'm sure they're aware of how badly this is going to go down with the fans, but since most of them are Francophones and new to the area, only the local lads would really be upset about it. I'm waiting for Sammy to tweet ASHLEY OUT. Actually, I can't wait to read what Joey Barton has to say about this. Or not.
