The whole Taylor fiasco (for which I blame solely management) and our TWO DMs (as mentioned earlier) who did not track a routine opposition midfield run is what cost us the fucking game.
No I meant after our next two games. I've written our next two games off, for purely 'worst-case scenario' reasons. I do think we can get SOMETHING from them though. Come on lads.
call y'self a fan ? PAH!!
Setanta Canada shows I think one Championship game a week, on Sundays, so I truly hope the Toon have tonnes of Sunday televised games.
*wakes up* May I remind everyone we're not down yet?
The articles in the OP really bring reality rapping at your door. These are tough times for football, and really makes you wonder where all the people are now who made it work so well for all those years. The more money the game earned the more 'fleas' it attacted in bloodsucking, neanderthalean owners trying to find a quick road to success.
In any case, I think over the past few months it has led me to feel a strong communal responsibility towards the game, even more so than before. Let's hope things do start to get better.
Some people just need to be beaten for their lack of communal understanding of the game. We're all in the same boat, no matter which team you support. But it seems glory really blights reality for many plastic, blinkered fans.
... really getting to me today.
Countless emails of 'You're going down!' and 'Always Coca Cola!' got me clenching my fists with hunger. I'm >< close to calling one of them out to the parking lot.
All Man U and Arsenal fans, surprise surprise.
Agree with all of that. Also thought Bassong, barring a couple of mistakes (not marking Vidic on that corner and messing up in front of Ronaldo) looked good, as usual.
Martins was disappointing imo, we need a lot more from him, and need him to be sharper. Love was actually pretty good as well.
I don't know which game people were watching, but Alan Smith was absolute horseshit. Needs to be shot.
Also, Tayls, ffs, nothing to say. Just. Hurts.
Well played, lads, all in all. Great effort.
