I just don't see how they have all this evidence -- none of which they are willing to disclose -- which pretty much nails Dennis Wise's role at the club and in our recent demise, and gives them a right to have such a pop at him alone. Blame the system, not just pegs in it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the subject of him staying has been discussed but I wouldn't bet a row of beans that he's had anything in writing. If the club confirm it then so be it. But my impression of JK right now is that he seems to exist in some sort of naive twilight world where he takes everything he's told at face value and then mouths off to the press to try and impress everyone that he's calling the shots. Could be some truth in this.

From those quotes this deal looks like a laugh. Of course, things can change since those quotes were spouted.

I'm not going to sing the praises of Shepherd, but could you imagine him not backing his manager with cash at this point in time, instead of scratching around for freebies? The club isn't progressing though. If anything, we're going f***ing backwards. And no support of the board/manager is going to change that. I havn't at any point said we are progressing. There are too many fans with too many different views on how to move forward. Until someone comes in and doesn't care if they annoy the vast majority of fans (whilst receiving offensive chants, protests, threats), too many fans will disgaree because it is not 'their way of thinking'. Until indiviual fans sit down and think what they personally want from the club, there will always be problems. What makes you think this regime has cared at all about what the fans think and want? First sign of trouble they tried to cut loose, when that didn't work, they've now become sitting ducks. They don't give a shit, and unless they come out and show us that they do, what any fan thinks is irrelevant. I'll continue to support until the universe ends, but won't be naive enough to believe the fans can actually change the thinking of those in power.

There is no 'board' anymore, remember. Ashley and his cronies need to fuck off, or seriously step up. And accept that they'll never be forgiven for the way they handled the whole KK and subsequent sale debacle.

The problem with French players is that they know they're good, and for some reason want better for themselves than stick around being under/misused and treated like kids. To make him stay we can spend big and bring in some real motherfuckin' players to convince the rest of the squad of our intent. I don't see Ashley doing anything whatsoever, the spineless fat prick and embarrassment of a human being.

The blame lies at the man who appointed him and gave him a contract till the end of the season, Kinnear can only work with what he's got, and he has done better (over Nov and Dec, at least) than most would've expected from him. I feel a bit the same as well. We were never going to go far in this competition and we've got a league we need to stay in. I'd much rather we concentrated on the latter. The problem is the morale and domino effect of this result. Losing at home to Hull twice isn't exactly going to pick the players and fans up. But fuck that, we've been here before. We need to step up. Ashley is a piece of shit.

He had the ball in his court from the first day KK walked out by coming out and talking to the fans to explain the situation. Not only did he not do that, for the next 2 months or more there was only silence. After his mistreatment of the fans his Plan B better be one strong fuckin' pill.
