Just the ITK crew were pulling our leg again. Not boring though.

And how much of that 80m will it cost to replace them 3 making an improvement Rafa Benitez recently showed at Napoli what incredible stuff he can do in the current transfer market. Signed both Mertens and Callejon for just £10million each. And Jorginho for £8million and Koulibaly for £7million. Which is a combined outlay of just £35million. All 4 probably worth a combined £200million now Just shows Rafa could do great in the transfer market even just with the Mike Ashley £60m-£70million net transfer budget if he’d ACTUALLY get it. Apparently it would be pointless keeping Rafa though even though we could never get anyone capable of what he is capable of. Let’s just get rid of Rafa and go down to League 1 for the crack instead.

Exactly. If we can get £30million combined from selling Gayle and Hayden then that would be fine.

I’m not sure it’s done like. He might leave it last minute and sign it, knowing if a takeover doesn’t happen then he’s not tied down long-term, and if it happens, he’ll likely get a new contract anyway if we’re doing well. I think the takeover is the reason they have only given him the offer of a one year contract in the first place. Obviously. 1 year extension suits everyone can easliy be extended as soon as the new owners arrive. Gives Rafa the option of leaving at the end of next season if the new owners don’t arrive. Hopefully he extends a year then decides on longterm next year based on if the new owners come in

So AVB > Rafa? After all, his CV at age 33 was the Portuguese League, Cup and UEFA Cup while Rafa was an assistant coach for Real Madrid B. Heck, at 41 he is still ahead of Rafa despite getting sacked from most of his subsequent jobs and taking two years off to crash rally cars. #science I said at the ages now of 59/60 after BOTH having had 20 years each at management. Benitez 15 v 1 Sarri. As for AVB the Mourinho wannabe he will be retired again in a few years already said he won’t be in management long term he’ll never win major league titles like Rafa Benitez or major European trophies like Rafa. I’m sure you lads can work that out.

I havent followed that closely in recent days so forgive me but is any of that based on what we know or is it your idea about what's happening? I mean "looking into the structure of how it works"? Where are you looking? Quite a few different resources actually. I contacted a guy from Telangana who explained their BZG deal to me. So basically they signed an MoU of 2 billion investment. That 2 billion is spread around through various construction and telecommunications companies over a period of time. They come in and do the work and absorb the costs, the region gets the infrastructure (roads, fibre optic lines etc) which BZG owns. They make the money back (and then some) on tolls and then contracts with other service providers to use what they have built. They’re in everything for the long term. They’ve built many sky scrapers over there. I’m not in any way worried about their credentials. Now that is interesting The fact they have various big projects like that over the World in reflection is a good sign. The Sheikh is also partners in business with people who have invested $100million into Sports companies like One Championship which makes me think their credentials to get investment for us is far better than I first thought.

Who has the better CV at the same age Sarri or Rafa Benitez?
-
Such a freak Sarri should be an inspiration to all football fans. Started off in the eighth tier of Italian football while working as a banker and never gave up and 25 years later he got a chance with his hometown club, one of the biggest clubs in Italy and did exceptionally there. Wonder how many winners medals Rafa or Mourinho, the only managers you seem to rate would have if they started off at Stia in the Italian 8th division Rafa started in the Segunda División and won 2 league titles at that level & won the English version of that level with us Then went onto win the Spanish league 2 times knocking Barcelona and Real Madrid off their perch and won the Champions League and 2 Europa Leagues. Rafa Benitez has far bigger achievements than Sarri has achieved at the same age. Rafa Benitez is a serial winner at every level not Sarri.
