Excellent decision to bring off Jonas too. Lovenkrands did very well when he came on.

20 big bastards on a win.

I wish I could channel your optimism. Positive orgones.

winwinwinwinwinwinwinwin.

It took me about 15 minutes to get to the bar, only to be told they weren't serving anymore.

My favourite away in the prem I think. Lovely ground and area. Few good pubs in the vicinity as well. The fans are hilarious though, they had these clapping hands they were using this season. You couldn't find trouble in Fulham if you were looking for it.

Pretty sure Fulham have got Barnes at the moment on loan. Has he even got on the pitch for them yet?
-
I've been thinking that for a while. Didn't we get Chelsea at the end of the season at home three times in a row fairly recently, and beat them twice..? That was when we weren't absolutely shit tbf. A weak Man Utd going to Hull is much more to worry about I think. A weak Man Utd is still good enough to beat all the teams in the Premiership, bar the remaining three of the top 4. Shop window for the likes of Anderson, Scholes and Giggs to see who takes Fletcher's place in the CL final?

Everyone thinks he's dreadful, hence most underrated. Can't think of a better 4th choice striker (behind vp, arsh, ade) unless you count cristiano as a striker. Which I'm not doing.
-
Bendtner. Most underrated player in the league at the moment? 15 goals this year, and the best 4th choice striker in the prem imo.

shouldn't happen either. salry cap is the way, even if it's the uefa mooted percentage of turnover. i alos agree with the earlier mentioned change to the loans regulations but think abolisionis too far. 3 loans a season max? no loans within the same division and for under 23's or 21's only. 3 or 5 max per season lasting for 28 days. Just posted above Liv have a 62 man squad. [move]Fucking hell!!!!![/move] Mind that includes reserves and the youth team, surely? Registered for Prem I think.

Zaki and Heskey caused a lot of problems early on. Effectively lost both in jan.

Abolish loans.

It allows the top 4 to stack up on players and benefit in the long-run when these guys come back with first-team experience. If you're not going to play them, sell them. If your youngsters are happy playing reserve team football, waiting for the gaffer to drop Ronaldo or Rooney to play them when they're still raw, then that's their choice. The way the system's set up now just means that the talent is too concentrated, meaning the system is just self-perpetuating because the more the top teams have money, the more they're going to stock up on young talent and the more they're going to strengthen their position at the top. It's radical but the poorer teams will benefit because top teams won't stock up on talent, and the Championship teams should have a bigger pool of players to pick from as well. In the long-run, these poorer teams will also benefit because they're not losing 17 year old prodigies for a few hundred k. They'll lose them when they become older and much better, and thus much, much more expensive. I agree. Made a thread on this a couple of months ago. It needs to go. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,60604.0.html

Since when?

I want him to stay too.

Why would Ashley staying particularly sugar it for you?

As someone (think it was O Nut) said, if it's all square after two sets of ninety on away goals too, should be straight to pens. Burnley were denied a carling cup final at the expense of Spurs this year because of a different extra time related discrepancy. It just confuses the matter.

The only problem I really have is with Redknapp getting praise for being particularly astute in the market, when in reality he spends a huge amount of money. Fair play to him for doing reasonably well with it, but to imitate his style will take a lot more money than I'd imagine we'll be spending.
