this was the one I voted for on the bbc website. Class! (Particularly if you've ever been to Chatham.... very apt!)
-
We signed a 22-year old from Coventry not so long ago, who everyone (particularly their supporters) reckoned to be wank. I wonder how he turned out?
-
O'Neill for me. He may be a bit overrated, but I still think he would have been a better option than Roeder, and probably was the best available to us at the time, IMO.

It is a common antic in premiership to be honest. Not that I agree with what they do, but I don't think that they have blatatnly excessively moved the ball sidewards or forwards. I disagree. It was a straight up piece of cheating that directly resulted in a goal. In that sort of position, two or three yards to the right makes a difference between being able to have a go at goal and crossing.
-
They also moved it a yard or two to the right, thus opening up the angle for Drogba to have a strike.

Better the Devil you know? Not so sure. Real businessmen could turn take this club to the next level. That isn't my point. Possibly better the devil you know, possibly not. How could anyone really say that Belgravia would be better than Polygon or vice-versa? How could they possibly know?
-
To be honest, the only owners we know anything about are the Shephards. I don't see how anyone could come to a sensible conclusion about which one of those options would be best for the club. There's just no way of knowing - it's not like choosing a prospective manager, whose skills you know about already.
-
Was that a wind-up?
-
He didn't offer too much going forward but looked a bit of a threat at times (probably cam closest to scoring after Oba) but I thought he worked quite hard, and certainly contained Bridge's attacking threat. Didn't seem to be playing as an out and out winger, and looked like he'd been told to track back a lot.
-
Ronaldo in for Agbonlahor, I'd probably put Makalele in for Butt as well. Probably as in Mak would probably be the best option given that Butt shouldn't be anywhere near the team! Possibly Matt Taylor and Sol Campbell (maybe even Linvoy Primus, who has been superb all season) should have a shout. I'd consider Doyle as a bench player as well.
-
Play him right back, his tackling is alright I suppose and he's quite nippy when he wants to be. Good engine on him aswell. I actually think that right back could be his best position. Not that we'll ever see him anywhere other than the middle of the pitch, regardless.

Aye. Two 1-0 losses to Chelsea. We're reet fucked!
-
And is why we are out of the competition. Cheers Glenn you sour faced c*** You really think that? If we'd made those substitutions earlier we would definately have won? We may have had a slightly better chance, but what you said is exactly the same as saying we definitely would have won had we made them . Roeder fucked up a bit tonight, but I can't believe quite how much flack he's got for it. We were always underdogs ffs.
-
That is my biggest fear - we'll lose if he plays. He will play. He's captain marvel! I don't really understand the point in suggesting formations for the game that won't be played...
-
It has to cross the line to be a goal.
-
I can guarantee you that, if fit, Scott Parker will be starting.
-
Bets tonight: Newcastle to qualify at 5/2 Oba to score first at 8/1. Why oh why do I bet on Newcastle? Heart ruling head every time....

Does anyone remember who set up the winner in an important league game against Watford? I'm really glad they did, that was an important extra two points and meant we didn't lose any of the momentum we'd been building up before the Chelsea game.
-
Same here but £5.5m of the budget on a central midfielder? Especially when we could have had him for a third of that if we went for him in the last transfer window  Sounds like bollocks to me, got a source to back that up with?! I think Barton would be a very good addition, but he's not a priority. With the deficiencies elsewhere in our squad I would be disappointed if we spent what would be (in all likelihood) a decent chunk of our budget on him.
-
I agree with this. Possibly interchanging the striker for a right-back however, given that I'm more comfortable with Le Sib and Dyer up top than I am with Stevie at RB.

:wullie: Why put that emoticon their four.

Really? You surprise me!
