  1. Almost as bad as the commentary. I was nearly sick. The guy stopped commentating to let us hear the song in it's entirety. PRICK. What was it? Game's on but I can't listen to Tyldsley so it's low volume
  2. I live in London and know loads of cunts who support Spurs, it's put me right off them. Harry Redknapp too. If it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't mind them, they play annoyingly nice football as you say. Fulham are probably my preferred PL team at the moment so it's another reason to want Spurs to lose tonight.
  3. Fulham, Villa, City, Chelsea. £2.40 wins £58. Was tempted by Spurs but then remembered I wanted to spend the evening supporting Fulham so went lower stakes and longer odds. I fucking hate Spurs.
  4. Couldn't possibly forgive the little cunt after that Blackburn game, disgraceful. Shame, he's got something about him as a player.
  5. Thats just speculative bollocks, anyone could write that Not just anyone, you have to be quite the racist to get something published in the Mail.
  6. To be fair that little bellend N'Zogbia probably deserved a slap.

  8. Just got home from Bristol, last 30 minutes were fucking exciting and the atmosphere was electric, shame we couldn't nick it. Jonas went from looking like he barely gave a shit to being unplayable and pretty much running the show; we were poor to average for the first 60 minutes though and it probably cost us 2 points. Enrique didn't quite look match fit but improved as it went on, couple of very poor mistakes first half including one that resulted in Hall having to clear it off the line. Routledge has been a very good signing (for this season at least) as he really adds something that noone else in the team seems to offer. Best looks horribly devoid of confidence, even in the warm up he didn't look like he was really part of it, as though he belonged. Really needs a goal and was fairly unlucky with one good save but passed up a couple of opportunities to hit it. Their keeper looked shocking throughout despite making a couple of good saves, must be horrible to defend in front of, he'd give you no confidence at all. The home fans next to the away end were decent, more interested in Newcastle than their own team mind, but I don't think I heard a single song sung from anywhere else in the ground. Whoever mentioned the cup final feel is spot on.
  9. £7.50 on Chelsea, £5.50 on Villa in play at half time.
  10. I always thought we went for Schmeichal after having him on trial but he turned us down for ManU in the end.
  11. Can't live anywhere near Dave then.
  12. Japan. Mumbai. I'm from the country where we use æ,ø, and å Cornwall?
  13. Would be a very good appointment in my opinion. It will be Hughton though and to be fair to him he does look to be improving.
  14. Are you similarly sorry for Michael Owen? He's only been interested in the England squad and money for the past few years too. No. He looks demotivated, and seems like he is more interested in his horse hobby. He wouldn't if he was in the England squad. Loves the international team just as much as Becks does.
  15. He's the shortest tall player I have ever seen, if you get what I mean. Peter Crouch. Gets lower when he jumps most of the time.

  17. Said this a few pages back but then context is usually a casualty in these type of debates. The horrendous decision making of Ashley since buying the club has absolutely nothing at all to do with the previous Board, to suggest otherwise is a nonsense imo. There has been a litany of errors committed by Ashley that have nothing to do with the previous Board: For 2 seasons causing stagnation and uncertainty within the club. Demotivating the players by putting them all up for sale. Appointing Keegan, a manager unsuited to his plan. When attempting to implement his plan, making a poor appointment in Wise. Bringing in Kinnear on a temporary basis, resulting in yet more stagnation and uncertainty. Replacing Kinnear with a coach. Replacing that coach with Shearer, a temporary manager of a sort. Replacing Shearer with a coach, Hughton. No significant improvement in playing staff in preparation for the current season. A lack of direction from the top undermining preparation. Failing to really appoint a proven manager at all since the departure of Keegan. Complaining about the wage bill yet being responsible for much of it by calling the shots when the club signed the likes of : Viduka, Barton, Rozenhal, Geremi, Smith, Cacapa, Beye, Coloccini, Enrique, Xisco, Gutierrez, Gonzalez. Undermining himself by sitting with fans in the stands and by going around with "Smith" on the back of a Newcastle top. Creating the environment in which the likes of apparently previously settled players such as Milner, N'Zogbia, Given, Martins and Bassong all wanted to leave. Some of those were probably not on a massive take home, comparatively speaking and would have probably been of some assistance in the quest to retain PL status, lost by 1 point. Willingness to blame the supporters for everything. Appointing first Mort and then Llambias to an important role. There will be other blunders to add to this list but I've got something to do right now and this is all pretty much off the top of my head. Sorry if some of these are incorrect, I'm sure someone will point it out as a part of any debate. From the day Ashley took over the club until ~2 months ago he's been taking the club backwards and that is of concern regardless of whether he has recently decided to attempt to reverse that trend. Since the turn of 2010 Ashley appears to be steering the club in the right direction by allowing the manager to boost the numbers in the squad. Big Deal! All blunders pale into insignificance beside that one. So many of the other decisions stemmed from it. Aye, Ashley needed a "yes" man for his plan rather than a decent manager like Keegan, who wants to do things himself in a similar way to other managers in the English league all manage to do. That's exactly it. Keegan has been a great club manager throughout his career but why would you appoint someone who is so patently unsuited to what you want to do? In terms of appointing a talented manager it was a good appointment, but madness considering the other factors.
  18. Tottenham, Ipswich, Coventry. £10 wins £31. Newcastle, Villa, QPR. £3 wins £66 odd.
  19. Errr...have you bet before? It's not a case of putting money on the teams you want to win WBA are near the top of the table, which suggests they could win tomorrow As far as I can tell you've never won a bet so probably best to ignore any advice you give.
  20. I thought I'd miss not being shit more than I do. We've been shit all season and it's been a right laugh.
  21. Good one Kemo. By the way... Yeah, only the thing is that song is actually about something a tad more serious than the frustrations of suburban middle-class family life.
  22. Agree. To have him above the Zog on this list is ludicrous. He was shit mind.
  23. Finally someone mentions N'Zogbia, the gutless little cunt.
  24. Against France in the world cup. I thought he was the worst player on the park at home to Croatia under McClaren too.
  25. Sunderland look like a side who can't buy a win at the moment. Last year iirc they won once from February till the end of the season. However back then they had gone on a good run beforehand and had a big enough gap to defend. I keep thinking, along with most, that they'll "pick up a couple of results here and there". But when does that mentality stop and an actual real onset of relegation become apparent? They've failed to beat Fulham, Wigan and Stoke at home, and their away form speaks for itself. I guess a lot will be revealed tomorrow night. Bold bit reminds me of something.
