Liverpool's title is tarnished no matter what because of this. Fans of other clubs will be slagging them off saying its not legit and will never concede that they deserved it no matter how many points clear they are. Honestly their quest to get a proper Premier League title has been laughable. Gerard's slip, last seasons points tally and now this pandemic when they were 25 points clear. Fucking hilarious.

Finally this is over. Knock down the East Stand immediately and lets expand now!
-
Yeah the language has changed to it WILL pass the Premier League tests rather than wait and see. It's done imo and will be announced this week.
-
First night back of my 4 nights on tonight. Keep it until Saturday please so I can join in with the cans.

Somewhere between 65k and 70k I'd have thought.

Significant upgrades to the interior of the stadium and it'd be top class. Its already got a big capacity but its just been neglected for so long that its a bit of a dump right now but it just needs brought into 2020 with a lot of upgrades. We shouldn't be moving the stadium unless its immediately behind where it is now in Leazes Park.

How is barely surviving and sometimes going down punching above our weight? We're clearly one of the biggest 10 or 15 clubs in the country like. But aye, 17th in the Prem or playing in the 2nd tier is punching above our weight.

Who cares if hes coming back anyway, it could be for a million reasons.
-
Im not sure if he can pull out at this stage? Its all down to PL approval now i think unless the buyer pulls out.
-
We should double their money and buy it back.
-
We've been too damaged from false dawns before, but this is done like.

Different scenario, we'd nothing to lose back then as we were going down anyway and had to take a risk. Now a relegation would be dreadful, why risk it? Its 9 games, just keep the team the way it is for the 5 or 6 weeks it'll take the finish the season then start changing everything. That’s why I’ve changed the scenario. If McClaren has us ticking over around 13th with 9 to play, several points clear...you’d not take Benitez? Course I would, Ashley was our owner and we'd would never have had another chance of appointing someone near that level of quality again. That's not the case now. Look we'll just have to agree to disagree. I hate Bruce just as much as anyone but unless we've a top manager ready to go right now, and there's no suggestion that we have, I don't see why he should go before the end of the season. If we haven't got someone ready to walk in immediately who's gonna do it?

Course it does, there'll be players in that squad who have loyalty to Bruce and wont be happy if hes binned off straight away. We're not safe yet like. We've shown before how easy it is to lose 9 games in a row. We need to finish the season properly first before making big changes.

The last ever RELEGATIONOMETER thread.
-
It doesnt make sense to bin Bruce off yet anyway as it just disrupts the team with games still to play. Let him finish the season then fuck him off. He cannot stay under any circumstances because one he isnt good enough and two hes a negative symbol of Ashley's era and we cant carry that into the new era.
-
If he bought the mackems and took them to the Prem they'd be loving him, but then he'll put the squeeze on and do his usual shit. Imagine us being a good side and battering an Ashley owned Sunderland twice a year man. Fucking great.

Whys there so much dead land along the quay and so close to the city centre?
-
If we expanded the GG end to level 7 that should be enough to cover us. Maybe demolish the East Stand and rebuild it someway that gives us another couple of thousand extra seats.
-
The only options are buying back the land outside of the Gallowgate and building it up to level 7 or building a new stadium. I'd much rather see us try and get the land back to build the Gallowgate up or just leave it the way it is with massive improvements to what is already there. We've 10k more seats at the moment than Juventus, the stadium size won't hold us back and moving definitely shouldnt be considered.

Probably a link through QPR.

FFP is just players btw isnt it? Hopefully we can build a world class training facility within the next couple of years.

We'll have more money than all of them. There's a lot of contenders but if we're in with them what a change from the s**** we've been dealing with for the last 13 years, more if you go back further. It'll take a while to build what we need to be a regular top 4 side again, we'll have to expand everywhere so we're taking in more money and can therefore spend more. City is where we should be aiming for in 10 years if there's genuine investment. As much as Leicester and that are close to them this season, the reality is they are miles behind. City are having an off year, look at them last year like. The first thing we need to go all out on a top manager and back him. With these owners we'd be a serious project for top manager looking for a new club.

Gonna be weird seeing Salah on the bench because Mbappe is keeping him out.
