They check every goal and every incident in the box. They're bound to be checking something as massive as a red card. These are checked automatically and the referee is informed that he may want to stop the game for a second if they think theres something, which is when you see the pause and the VAR check thing on the big screen.

As much as I enjoy seeing them suffer it's really sad how much shit the two biggest clubs in the northeast have to deal with. How is it that in a community that cares so much about football, both big clubs end up with two absolute bellends as their owners?
