Went up to The North Terrace before the game and walked with the group to SJP. Was a fucking great day and my mates who support other clubs had a great time joining in with the craic. Honestly what these lads have done is unreal.

The exterior of the stadium needs a clean up badly. It looks especially bad among the modern buildings around it too. There really is no excuse for not giving the place a face lift.

Perhaps the mooted ‘huge gulf’ between the Prem and Champo is overestimated for all leagues. I know it’s a bit of a stretch but I watched an Altrincham vs Shaw Lane game, a few weeks ago, and it wasn’t hugely different in terms of some of the individual quality in show than I’ve seen in some Championship games. Of course there must be a difference on average (particularly in the example I use) but perhaps more overlap than we assume. When you look at how much teams bounce around the 3 FL divisions it makes you wonder how small the gap in quality between the bottom of the Championship and say the top of League Two really is.

I know we don't need to win the game but 5 defeats would be a really s*** way to close out the season. Hope the lads play out of their skin. Gonna go with 2-0.

Given the size of teams in Northern Ireland they'd struggle to cover the costs of travelling to Britain all the time if they were in with those teams, as would the teams of similar size in Britain having to travel to Ireland for matches.

I'm guessing at this point they'll either agree a deal and it'll be positive or they won't agree a deal and Rafa will just walk now rather than seeing out his contract.
