I could never be jealous of Man United fans. I couldn't imagine anything worse in football than walking around my town having to talk about my club to so many clueless morons who think they know it all. Not to mention having to share buses to games with arseholes who just have money and no real interest in the club. Plus I don't think I'd ever be respected in England as a fan, they'd just think I'm a glory hunter no matter what, and I'd hate that for things like forums etc.

I see he isn't going to Portugal, did he go to Motherwell? How can he properly look at the team pre-season when he isn't even watching our games? Unless of course a couple of Kinnear masterstroke signings are about to be unveiled.

How would club football even function with this? Presumably the club season would need to end a month or so before the WC starts to give teams prep time and so players can rest in the lead up to it. Then you have the month of matches and then possibly another month of rest for the players. Unless of course clubs just have to do without their best players for two months of the season and club football is only suspended for one month or 6 weeks. Either way the whole thing is an utter shambles. Is it even possible for clubs, leagues and players to boycott the World Cup and continue to play club matches during the winter? It's a bit extreme, but then it's the clubs more than anything that face the consequences of the move to winter.

I'll end up getting it spoiled for me by some knacker.
