Remember the last time Carroll came back? We were shitting ourselves then as well, about Enrique too, look how that turned out. People give these returning players far too much attention. Done Burnley, Palace, Yeovil and Cheltenham today, £3 returns £66. Done a couple of others as well with like £2, each returns about £25 or £30.

If we don't show up for this we could find ourselves on the end of a hammering because Carroll will be playing his heart out. I'm not too worried about Nolan, he pops up in the right places but he's not the fittest or most technically gifted player in the world and I'd like to think our lot know how to keep him quiet having trained with him for a long time. I'd also like to think Pardew has made all the players well aware of Carroll coming back with a point to prove.
