  1. I hate these half empty stadiums in the Europa League man.
  2. Hopefully he doesn't just get away with it like he did with Hamann.

Did they do the interview with Di Canio in the corner of some small room? Not exactly the same as Newcastle's press room.

Haven't you heard of Paul Slane? http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1810468 Here is one of the pics, definitely NSFW! http://pbs.twimg.com/media/BGFcos3CQAEnqkK.jpg

I think he was using the word fenian more in reference to Irish republican paramilitaries, rather than Irish Catholics in general. I didn't find what he said offensive myself but can see why some people would.

You can't retweet them and pass them off as your own I thought the spelling and grammar was too good to be a neesy original.

Going to be really easy to hate this guy. His connection to the mackems aside, O'Neill seemed to me like a decent enough bloke, but Di Canio man, he's an absolute cock!

They appointed an inexperienced Hughton last time, when they could have appointed an experienced manager. They've got history messing up important decisions.

If we pick up less than four points from the next two games then perhaps alarm bells will start ringing but honestly I don't see Pardew leaving even if we went down. seriously, on what basis? Come on, if we kept Pardew after relegation would it really surprise you?

Lindegaard; Smalling, Jones, Evans, Buttner, Anderson, Giggs, Valencia, Kagawa, Nani, Hernandez Thats more than good enough to beat Sunderland, also they'll have the likes of RVP on the bench if they're a goal down. Man Utd were always going to field a weakened team for that game with their quarter final only 48 hours later.
  12. They're a football club in the Premier League don't you know?
  13. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21936103 Just as bad as Sammy Lee.
  14. Sunderland 0-2 Man Utd Arsenal 3-0 Reading Man City 3-0 Newcastle Southampton 0-2 Chelsea Swansea 1-2 Spurs West Ham 0-2 WBA Wigan 1-2 Norwich Everton 3-1 Stoke Aston Villa 1-3 Liverpool Fulham 1-1 QPR
  15. Going to be annoying when West Ham are above us in stadium capacity.
  16. Has it been confirmed that the sale of Upton Park isn't part of this deal? Surely a percentage of that goes to the government?
  17. I wonder what kind of funding goes towards soccer here? GAA clubs have fantastic funding. I mean even small clubs get so much. Pretty much every town/village in Ireland has a GAA club which has a club house, personalized kits, gyms etc and in a lot of cases flood lighting. If the FAI and the IFA invested as much into local soccer as the GAA does in to local clubs then maybe there'd be more of an interest and therefore better players here?
  18. That team looks weak. We'd have a better chance of qualifying with 11 GAA footballers.
  19. They should do, our £17m was one of the highest fee's they've ever received.
