He hasn't done bad this season at all, but the Reading and Villa (in particular) results should have been better, we can't afford to drop points like that too often. Some of the results in Europe were really unconvincing as well. Abandoning the tactics that took the team to 5th last year is just mind boggling as well (yet another 433 reference). I've no doubt that we'll get in to gear soon though and we'll go on a bit of a run.

I think Arsenal have 4th sorted, they'll always pick up more points over the course of the season that the rest as it stands, and they'll also go on a run of great form as always. I don't think Spurs are 4th material this year at all, they look clueless at times and even the fans were calling for AVB's head very early on in the season. We haven't be great at times this season ourselves and should definitely have more points on the table. The closest team to Arsenal are Everton imo who look really strong. I think it'll end up like: Top 3: Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea. 4th/5th: Arsenal, Everton. 6th/7th: Us, Spurs. 8th/9th: Liverpool, West Brom. If we don't get going fast we'll find ourselves dropping to the fight for 8th though.

Isn't he getting decent wages here though? Can Liverpool really afford to give him 30k on top of what we're giving him?

Even if Clattenburg is a racist, I refuse to believe he would be foolish enough to make racial remarks to players during a game, not only because of the implications on his career, but because of recent events. The game was one of, if not the most watched football match in the world on Sunday too, if he did say anything it'd be caught on camera surely? Similar to when John Terry was accused.

Loved him in his first season here, but the UEFA Cup made his record look better than it was, he didn't score enough in the league. After his first season he, like the rest of the team, was just shite. I think what happened to him since leaving showed just how poor he was. I'll remember him fondly for the ridiculous goals he scored though, that one against Spurs in WHL was just insane. I still can't believe he scored the winning goal in a cup final in England too, fucker couldn't believe his luck.

We never win at Anfield and we won't win next week, doesn't matter how shit Liverpool are. We'll beat them at SJP though. Next game please.

Done the stadium tour at the weekend there and seen all this for the first time, I was nearly sick. It's everywhere on the inside of the ground as well, I mean is there really any need to have a massive Sports Direct sign in the Milburn reception? On a side note, the guy taking the tour said plans are in place and ready to go to make the Gallowgate level 7, but the club needs to improve on the pitch before they'll green light the plans. Nothing that wasn't obvious anyway.

If they're all loaded now then what shape will they be in in 6 hours? I can see quite a few not even making it to the match.
