Miggy does a lot of running and has great energy, he is also a really likable person but he just isn't good enough to be playing week in week out in a key position. I don't mind him being at the club for another couple of years in the squad, he has good energy to bring on late in a game, but we absolutely need a new quality right winger. We've needed it since Howe has been here and it simply has to be addressed in the next 1 or 2 transfer windows. If we had better decision making and quality up there we'd be scoring a lot more goals.

We really shouldn't have lost that man. What was Schar thinking running so far forward and leaving us short at the back? Just pass it man.
-
He made a mistake there but he’s been brilliant for us since Botman has been out.
-
Yeah you're right, forgot Milan lost 3-0 to PSG.
-
If PSG fail to win the winner of our game goes through yeah.

The German teams will do very well this season so it’ll be tight enough between Spain, England and Germany. Bayern and Dortmund going out in the next round would do us a favour.

Only one that overly concerns me there is Sheffield Wednesday. Cambridge wasn't long into Howe's time here and we'd only just bought Trippier. We'd still only won one game under Howe at that point so it was still very much a team laggin from the Bruce/Ashley era. Bournemouth and Everton are stinkers, but they were in the middle of the worst injury crisis we've had at the club in living memory for me, plus there are no easy away games in the Premier League and both of those teams are doing quite well actually. Everton would be 3 points behind us without the points deduction and Bournemouth have looked really good since they beat us as well, unbeaten with 3 more wins. Maybe Sheffield Wednesday was a shit performance and the team didn't show up, it happens. But it won't happen for this, not a local derby. We've too many in the team who know exactly what this game means. Players like Gordon, Wilson, Trippier, Lascelles, Bruno, Joelinton etc will all be right up for this. We're genuinely going to absolutely smash them to pieces I reckon. They'll never cope with the way we play, we're guaranteed a few goals in this.

In just one month from now we could have another few league wins under us, be in the League Cup semi final and have just beaten the mackems in the FA Cup. That's how quickly shit can change. Someone said earlier on here that just 3 days ago we'd just beaten Chelsea, Man Utd and nearly beaten PSG in Paris in our last 3 and it was all good. We're starting to get players back now and we've easier games than away to Spurs coming up so keep the faith and just move on from today.
-
I'd certainly give him a go before looking in the transfer market if Dubs keeps playing like shit.
-
The RTG lot will be pissing themselves looking at the nerves on here like. We've been laughing our heads off at these clowns for years now man, and we're a million times better than them even in our current state. We're going to fucking smash them, stop with these doubts lads.
-
I'm not sure what our options are because Pope is coming back like so I wouldn't want us spending too much on a keeper who is going to sit on the bench forever from March.
-
Of course its too early. We've been destroyed by injuries and we wouldn't be in this situation without the injuries and we won't be in a few weeks when we get more players back. In the summer we should be targeting players with fitness records that suit our style and try and move on players like Wilson who are guaranteed to have at least two spells on the sidelines every season. I love Wilson but we can't be having this anymore with him, he's far too unreliable and will probably only get worse as he gets older. Anyone else in the squad with these issues should be moved on too if the right replacement can be brought in. All the stops need to be pulled out to prevent an injury crisis like this happening again.
-
Good chance to give him two weeks off now and get him back to full fitness. Milan is the big game in the middle of that but what is realistically gonna do in his current state? He needs rested bad.
-
Probably the only way he’ll get dropped and get a rest so good news.
-
Unless his wage demands are insane, it seems mental that we’re not going after De Gea until the next of the season.
-
People need to relax and see how the second half starts, remember who we’re playing. The kings of shooting themselves in the foot.
-
I’d love to know why Howe has no faith in Hall. It seemed obvious that Trippier needed a rest bad, so why not play Hall at left back and Timo at right back today so we have a decent Trippier ready for Milan instead of an even more knackered one? Honestly Hall has been good anytime he’s played so what’s going on?
-
We’ve near a month to get more bodies back, we’ll be rotating more this month getting the tired players back to decent fitness, and we’re playing fucking Sunderland like. They’re not Spurs away, which we still haven’t lost yet by the way.
-
We’re absolutely abysmal away from home this season like. I don’t want to hear about performances, 1 win in 8 if we go on to lose this is all that matters. Nowhere near good enough.
-
This all day. There's plenty of road left in the PL to get top 5, and Brighton and Man Utd both dropped points this week too. The Milan game is make or break for us in Europe and has to be priority number one. Howe will say he only looks at the next game but Milan will be in his mind for sure.

How embarrassing was it watching him brownnosing that mess Pearl Davis too? Literally stopped and turned to someone beside him during his Piers Morgan interview and said "shes really good", then tweeted that she turned into a diamond before his eyes. He'll be licking the arse out of all these right wing trolls now trying to get his podcast off the ground. He tag Fox or Tate in a tweet yet?
-
Not too mention if anything these days its these dickheads who should be labelled as 'woke', I mean its the rest of us who are clueless to whats really going on and we don't have our eyes open like they do, isn't that the way its meant to be?
-
Well, dunno about that like. We were comfortable enough and were coming into the game then one player made two massive mistakes. We’d 61% possession, had Tripps not did what he did we may well have went on to win.
-
Fernandes getting a yellow for shouting at the ref knowing he’d be out of the Liverpool is utterly unforgivable. If I was a Man Utd fan I’d be seething.
-
Easy to forget about this after tonight’s game but Barton was on Piers Morgan tonight and unsurprisingly he’s changed his argument from all women shouldn’t be allowed to talk about the men’s game to it being earned on merit. I thought the interview was going well until he invited not one but three extra people on and it just became a shouting match. It’s quite sad too that they invited that mess Pearl Davis on to obviously just spew out controversial nonsense. Barton of course loved her because she’s exactly the type of person he’d have on his own podcast.
