I think people will be surprised at our summer business. Our owners are here to compete for the top trophies, and although no one expects us to next season, it'll be important that we use every summer to close the gap, we're not going to do that spending 60 or 80 million. I don't know the exact FFP figures with regards what we can spend but our owners and those running the club know we can't just stand still for another season and we'll be doing that by spending so little when the squad still needs big investment. They'll have a plan and it could well include selling a prized asset like Bruno to allow us to really go hard on incomings. We'll see, but I'm fairly confident the spending will be well north of £100m again.

It's not ideal to have someone who has only started following us since the takeover have a role like that but does anyone really care? What exactly does her role entail anyway and is there any reason she can't do it as good as anyone else? She's a Newcastle fan now so good luck to her IMO. It baffles me that people are giving her stick and are going to the effort of faking old social media posts, honestly have people nothing better to do? She sourced the tickets for the games herself by the sounds of it so what's the issue? I think if most of us started following a sports team in a foreign country and had a few quid about us we'd do the same would we not?

We can talk about the run up to the game all we want but at the end of the day if we show up we'll win. We've two weeks off to prepare for it, we're a better team than them, the only thing that will stop us progressing is a bad performance from us and if that's the case there's fuck all we can do about it. The draw could have been way worse, I'm happy enough with it.

I love how we have a winter break for a weekend but then the week after we've 3 games in about a week. Pointless man, it'd benefit us more to just play that Villa game on the break weekend at this rate.

It won't be easy but we're a better team than Fulham and recently beat them 3-0, even if they did have ten men. A good performance and we should go through.

Not great to be away to a PL team but it could be a lot worse. Should definitely be expecting to progress there.
