I despise the cunt. However I’m absolutely certain that IF he signs then I will convince myself that he will do well, which isn’t totally impossible. I’m pretty certain that all the “hate” goes out the window once/if he does sign. Fickle as fuck tbh. One thing to add. Never ever forget how massively important the environment is to a player, never mind a young one. That can totally change a player’s performances and belief. That simple change of scenery can really kickstart a player and if things start going reasonably well then it’s very often onwards and upwards from there. Can never say for certain in this case. But no matter what club/league how often has a player completely transformed over night? Many many times. Personally I wouldn’t go for him but it could prove to be a great signing even if we don’t see it now. Eased in, in a new positive environment where everyone is pulling in the same direction. an environment that isn’t chaotic and toxic and stressful. Good vibes all around can make a player so much more relaxed. Small steps forward can snow ball into very fast development.

No, we don’t need a large scale one. We need to strengthen our team/squad though. It’s naive to think we are very likely to get CL without strengthening. Bruno/Botman injured for a longer time and I’m sure we are fucked already. We will still do reasonably well but would be much harder to keep the momentum up. Psychologically too.

The sooner we get CL football the better. No two ways about it. The opportunity is there now, go for it!

I think we would genuinely ask for trouble if we don’t get another quality CM in too. We have one that is very good on the ball, one.. A couple of quality players wouldn’t just improve the first 11 and the squad, it would also lift the belief and energy in the current ones. Mentality wise the current players could use an energy boost with a couple of players coming in to keep the momentum up.

I’d say it’s even more than disappointing. Outright very bad. But I’m sure there will be people convincing themselves otherwise. Also, no, I’m not screaming for all the toys.. Hopefully we can get 1-2 quality players in.

Dislike the cunt but I want a signing done asap and if he was to actually sign he would have my support. He has pace and energy and work rate but I don’t see him being the creative option when teams sit back. Also doubts over his decision making and end product. I guess that can get better with time. Imo he’s immature and a bit of a reckless coward acting tough. Think there are better options out there. 25-30m is absolute max imo.
